Recall E-Mails
Hello, is there a possability to recall E-Mail Objects which are placeholders (similar to FSA Tool fsautility.exe with parameters -b -s) in users mailboxes? We have decided to migrate to Exchange Online, were the users need their E-Mails all in one place. We are using EV 12.2.3. Best regards and thanks Alex
Journaling in Mixed Exchange 2010 / 2016 Environment
Running EV 12.0.3 in mixed Exchange 2010 / 2016 environment. Journaling is configured in Exchange 2010. EV Journaling and Archiving tasks running against Exchange 2010. New System Mailbox and EV Archiving task created and running against Exchange 2016. No mailboxes migrated from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016. What do I need to do with journaling before starting the migration of Exchange 2010 mailboxes to Exchange 2016?
EV Exchange feature enquiry
EV Exchange can be customized to exclude the archive all subfolders under In box. Would like to ask whether EV 12.1 can perform the following : 1. Only achieve the first level of folders under IN box through GUI 2. If one know the names of all subfolders, KB 100016636 ( https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100016636 ) mention the way provided one know the subfolder names. My question is whether there is anysimplerway to achieve the same purpose ? One cannot know that for all users. Thanks
Mailboxes outside the Domain - Exchange server
Hi, We had a mailbox in 2 domains in Exchange 2007 (1 server per domain) and mailbox was enabled in EV 11.0.1 for archiving. Now the mailbox has been migrated to Exchange 2013 with 1 server for 2 domains. The Exchange 2013 server is in COMPANY1.COM domain. The mailbox in domain COMPANY1.COM don't has problem. But, the mailbox in domain COMPANY2.COM have not been detected as migrated to the new Exchange server. Provisioning task report shows the following : "Mailbox not processed as located in an Exchange mailbox database that is not in the current domain or on an Exchange Server that has not been added as a target" EV_GROUP : Mailboxes added: 0 Mailboxes updated: 1 Mailboxes relinked: 0 Mailboxes ignored because already processed: 0 Provisioning targets that returned no mailboxes: 0 Users without a mailbox: 0 New mailboxes ignored because of existing entries in the Enterprise Vault database: 0 Journal mailboxes found: 0 Users with mailboxes outside the current domain: 91 Users whose mailboxes were not synchronized: 0 Errors: 0 How can we resolve this issue pelase?
