We are decommisioning our EV product and need to PST off any current users archives. Over serveral years many (about half) of our EV users -exchange mailboxes have been deleted (as they have left.) (Thier archives are still sitting there, but havnt updated for years of course.) Naturally, We will only pst off existing users. Current proceedure for finding last archived date (one by one approach) [Vault Console] >Archives > Exchange Mailbox >"A-C users" Right click a user > Properties This is great if I want to go down the lists of 1600 users one at a time, keeping a record (cant find an ev report that does this) of each one on paper. This surely must be a common requirement but I cant find anything on this site or the net describing how to do. Any help appreciated. jdogSolved584Views0likes3CommentsMonitoring multiple sites in one page
Hello all, I have multiple EV-sites (continent-specific) that need to be monitored from 1 central location. I'm hoping to use monitoring as first quick check. (the 'monitoringwebapp' from Enterprise Vault) Is it possible to get all sites listed in 1 central monitoring page? Example: Site 1 = EuropeVault Site 2 = USVault Site 3 = APACVault I now go to evserver01.europe.domain.com/enterprisevault/monitoringwebapp/default.aspx, evserver01.us.domain.com/enterprisevault/monitoringwebapp/default.aspx or evserver01.apac.domain.com/enterprisevault/monitoringwebapp/default.aspx to get the page for the specific site. Would it be possible to create a page having these in them? I am not an html guru (or programming for that matter ;-) ) , but if anyone has an idea, please share. Hi there! I'm new to EVault. It fell on my lap when the person in charge of it run away in dispair. :) I looking for your help to enlighten me about some product (EVault for Exchange) adminstration/management questions. I would like to know if it is possible to (and how): Have different Stores and/or partions for different years, like a physical file separation by year Permanently remove/delete an achived item from the Store to recover the space: release to Outlook/Exchange, remove from Outlook and also from the EVault permanently Move items between Stores/Partitions for exemplo to achieve the desired result on 1 The EVault version in use is 7.5 SP1 (7.5.1.1397) installed on a Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2and with Exchange Server 2003 SP2. Thanks in advance! Regards, Raul Costa1KViews0likes8CommentsRemoving FSA share (returning all data to it's original location)
I am looking for documentation thatdescribes how to turn off FSA for a share. Have looked through the administrators guide and online... Nothing that warrants a guide... Is it as easy as Unticking "Archive This folder" and "Archive subfolders"on the share properties? Seems too easy. I want to unarchive the share. (By unticking Archive this folder and subfolders, does this return the data back to the FS in full next time FSA Task is run?) When it's unarchived delete the data off the FSA (Phsysically delete the data that has been returned from the Windows FS) Remove the Target (Remove the share from the list of targets in Evault) Could it be as simple as that?Solved986Views0likes6Comments
