EV Client Reset for MAC book
Hi All, We are facing issue while accessing archived mails which contains attachment in Mac book using outlook 2011. When we face similar issue in windows, we used to reset EVclient on windows machine. In Macbook, how can we reset EV client and access archived mail with attachement without any issue. Exporting and recreating split PST files
Hello, Using Discovery Accelerator 9, I've exported out a significant amount of email for a custodian (about 50GB). I've selected to export as 'Original Type' and to encapsulate in a PST format. Doing this, I've run across a couple of questions that I'm not able to answer fully and I'm hoping someone here can do so. Question 1: The PST files split into 1.32GB size chunks and seems to divide the PST files exactly on this size (like a zip file). After looking at a PST file, it seems to possibly parse the msg files in different PST files. Meaning an email with one attachment can possibly save the email in one PST and the attachment in another. Is this something that it does? If so, is there an option to have it not do this? Question 2: After the above, it also looks like it does not retain original folder structures (maybe it never had one being in the archive). Hello all, I am upgrading indexes using EV10SP4CHF2. In one region, I get many 28998 errors (Retrieval of a saveset failed) The error is: Retrieval of a saveset failed. Reason: The system cannot find the path specified. (0x80070003) Saveset Id: 138000000000000~200002162158210000~0~E103DD990AB34D6E9046124089DF499 Vault Id: 166B4569EA834794C965D8AAE9B5421BC1110000VAULTOC Index Sequence Number: 10195 Internal Reference: Fetching Saveset for indexing Is it possible to find the location on disk for this item? I can then check if the item does exists, and if not, check to see if it is still available in a backu somewhere. Anyone having a SQL query possible of the above? Thanks. Duplicate Email in Outlook after Legal Hold activation
Hi everyone, I have a big issue with my Enterprise Vault infrastructure. Last week, i activated the Legal hold on several mailboxes. (Using this answer :https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/litigation-hold-procedure) During the week-end, the database has grown a lot... and every items in users mailboxes got duplicated. (Email, Calendar items, etc...) In another thread (this onehttps://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/getting-duplicate-emails-when-trying-archive-emails-outlook), it's said that that kind of thing happen when no option are selected in the policy. My purpose was to set legal hold on several mailboxes and "don't touch" the original.(it seems to worked... before i discover the duplicate items) Can anyone help me before i contact the support ? EV Outlook add-in error
Hi, I have encountered an EV Outlook add-in issue that I haven't sen before. The Installation is EV 1.0.0.4, Outlook add-in 10.0.0.4 and Exchange 2010. For one of the pilot users an error pop up appears when opening an archived item within Outlook (2010). The error is an Outlook Forms error saying that "To help prevent malicious code from running one or more objects in this form were not loaded." After clicking ok to the pop-up the archived item opens and appears to be fne. I'm guessing that this is a security setting in Outlook but can't figure out exactly what it is.
