Hi, Could someone tell me what is the function of "backup exec vss provider" ? How does it benefit the backup process ? It is set to manual in the services of my virtual machine (windows server 2008 R2) ? I try to use Vxvm volume as a boot disk for gust domain. After i assist a volume as a boot disk and boot this guest domain. It show NOTICE: vdisk@0 disk access failed And i can't install guest domain. Hi All, Client has recently migrated SAP Hana from Intel box to IBM Power 8 server and operating system is - SUSE Linux Enterprise server 11 SP4 running on IBM power server for Hana . Currently IBM Power server is not supported by Current Version of Netbackup .We would like know the support for the same will be released in new version? Backaup exec appliance 3600 CASO
Hello, I have a stage 4 Appliance Backup Exec 3600, all 4 are currently in production with jobs properly, I would like to set one of them as CASE and the other 3 as slaves. These changes do not mean you have to start again with jobs, no?, Changing the configuration of applainces all information will be maintained, no? I try running live update from Backup Exec 2012 Console, but i get the same information. Open Symantec Support Case, but i wait a reply about this issue. Some people any a idea about this issue. Hello, I have received a notification from symantec that the upgrade for the backup exec appliance R2 and R3 to the new R4 is now available... anyone knows of any documentation or steps or notes about the how to perform the upgrade? the appliance currently uses windows server 2008 R2 and backup exec 2012. what will be upgraded exactly? the backup exec. version or both the OS and the backup exec.? appreciate any input on this.Solved1.6KViews0likes3Comments
