Building NetBackup Global Cluster with VVR Option... need main.cf
Hello, I am trying to build a global cluster with VVR option. Where i have one NetBackup cluster in Site A with two nodes and one Netbackup Cluster in Site B with single node. I know how to do replication manually for the catalog but would like to add it to global cluster configuration to automate everything. I would appreciate if anyone can share the details what services need to be modified or new service group need to be created to accomodate replication part. Does any one know how to upgrade how to upgrade ApplicationHA RedHat guest componet from 6.2 to 6.2.1? https://sort.veritas.com/patch/detail/10105 In the patch document, it did not mentinon anything how to upgrade ApplicationHA. my question is do we upgrade from inside the guest OS via installer like ./installmr ? or Upgrade from Symantec HA console via vSphere Client?2.3KViews0likes0Comments
cannot configure vxfen after reboot

Hi, Not sure if this could be the right place to ask this but I was trying to find the Appl HA version compatible with RHEL 7 and I found that only the latest one is... But I couldnt find it to download as a trial (tried the trialware ino the symatec website .. but they only have until the 6.1 version)... Can anyone point me where I can get it if available? The output of the command: hares -value virt_name CEInfo Looks ok and I can see the hostname of the server. Also the Virtual Machine has been added as a KVM resource. I can see that the system has been successfully registered for Application HA: ./enable_applicationha -status virt_name VIRTUAL MACHINES REGISTRATION virt_name.................................................................................................................................................... Registered On a previous project a couple of years ago I can see the followingline inmain.cf: virtualsystem VirtGuest ( ) However this line is missing from the main.cf this time. However I really cannot remember what I did different. So my question is; how do I add a virtualsystem to the cluster? Which step should add this? Hi Community, I found a document mentioning about the limitations of guest to guest clustering on a virtualized environment (i.e. vmware ESXi) because of the I/O fencing problems in Veritas Cluster Suite 5.1 My question is do we still have this same limitation on v 6.1?
