BackupExec asking for 2nd tape reporting 1st tape full when Job is only half of capacity of tapes
Any suggestions? I applied HotFix 336718 last week (on Backup Exec 12) that did not fix the problem. I upgraded to 12.5 (applied SP3) and the problem remains the same. Backup Job is set to overwrite, Job Defaults is set for NO overwrite protection under Media Management. I must be missing something very simple, I hope. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
When will Redhat Linux EXT4 and XFS file system backups be supported?
I was wondering when Symantec will support the EXT4 and XFS Redhat Linux files system backups? We need to use one of these file systems for SAS and would like to know when our current backup vendor for our UNIX systems will support those files systems EXT4 & XFS will be supported by Symantec. Se hace el backup pero no finaliza
Estimados tengo un problema con un backup, lo ejecuta pero nucna termina se queda por horas y horas y tengo que darle finalizar para que termine y sale el sgte. error Error category : Job ErrorsError : e0008821 - Job was recovered as a result of Backup Exec RPC service starting. e00084af Exchange2k3 Backup nur nicht auf Raid5
Unsere Konfiguration: BS:Windows XP SW: Backup Exec 12.5 Rev. 2213 Backup-to-Disk Ordner: Raid5 System von Areca1222 mit 2,72 TByte Kapazität Von einem Windows2003 Server auf dem Exchange2003 läuft, sichern wir mit Hilfe des "Agent for Microsoft Exchange Server" die Datenbank. Dieses funktioniert auf eine lokale Sata-Festplatte, welche auch am Raid-Controller angeschlossen ist, jedoch in keinem Raid, tadelos und ohne Probleme. Wenn ich jedoch dieses Backup auf ein lokales Raid5 Laufwerk mit 2,72 TByte erstellen möchte, werden die Daten auch in den gewünschten Ordner kopiert jedoch erscheint nach der Überprüfung folgender Fehler und ich kann aus diesem Backuo keine Postfächer restaurieren: Fehlerkategorie : Auftragsfehler Fehler : e00084af - Das Verzeichnis bzw. die Datei wurde nicht gefunden, oder der Zugriff ist nicht möglich. Zusätzliche Informationen zu diesem Fehler finden Sie unter der Verknüpfung V-79-57344-33967 Wenn ich das ExchangeBackup auf eine Single-Platte im gleichen Rechner starte läuft das Backup ohne Fehlermeldung. Die Zugriffsrechte sind auf den Laufwerken identisch gesetzt. Wiederum giebt es beim Sichern von Daten auf das RAid5 Laufwerk mit BackupExcec keine Probleme - Fehler erscheinen nur beim Sichern der Exchangedatenbank. Was soll das sein ??? Hat dazu jemand einen Tipp
