Resource Attribute Descriptions in VOM 7.0
In the old Java Console Properties tab there was a ?Help icon next to each Attribute that would display a description of the attribute. I have not been able to find that function in VOM 7.0 and miss it very much. Please direct me if that function is supported in VOM 7.02.2KViews0likes1CommentLinux VOM with addons download says File not found

Using the Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager console, you can view the real-time status of the InfoScale product licenses deployed on the managed hosts. You can view the total number of licenses deployed on the physical as well as virtual hosts along with the chargeable, non-chargeable, and expired licenses. To learn more about InfoScale licensing, pricing and types of Symantec price tiers, see: About Veritas licensing and pricing From Storage Foundation and High Availability 6.0 release onwards, the Symantec Performance Value Unit (SPVU) pricing method was used for Storage Foundation and High Availability products. To know more about InfoScale and the pricing, see: Veritas InfoScale Introduction About Symantec Performance Value Unit About Symantec Performance Value Unit for VMware virtual machines About Symantec Performance Value Unit for Solaris LDOM virtualization server About Symantec Performance Value Unit for kernel-based virtual machines About the Symantec Performance Value Unit for IBM LPAR From Veritas InfoScale Management Server 7.0 release onwards, Veritas uses the per-core licensing pricing method for InfoScale products. The value is calculated by accumulating the total number of cores on the host used by the product. To learn more about the per-core pricing model, see: About per-core licensing You can run reports that provide details on demo licenses, deployments by operating system tier and server tier. You can also run reports for hosts without InfoScale licenses, and to get details about the deployment policies that are violated. I'm having issues trying to determine the best place to look to determine the reasons why VOM is reporting different information to commands run at the command line. VOM does show that its Disk Group is imported and Healthy and its Volume is online, but it has no details of the disk, how can this be? It's not causing any issues to the "solution" but it's worrying that it has no information about a disk that is there at the OS, where should I start to look to investigate this further?
