Hi, Recently we have two new appliances 5230 and in the integration with the supervision system we will need to test the SNMP traps. I read the documentation and I don't found nothing about to send a test trap to test SNMP. We are running NBU Appliance based environment ver 2.6.1.1 and NBU ver. 7.6.1.1. We are required to enable auditing to capture who changed what policies and when. We also have OpsCenter Analytics that I am sure can possible be useful. We have this weird appliance issue - wondering if anyone else has experienced this recently (maybe due to https://symappmon.com not working?) The 5230 Appliance is on 2.5.4 - the status is perfectly green. this happens when i try to verify the process queue - sometime i check once in a while. Hello, I have a very strange problem over here where one of my servers does something abnormal... Once I reboot the server and run the backup (full) then I get full speed over 600Mbit/sec meaning it gets done in about 6 hours. However once the backup completes I have an issue on the following day where transfer rate gets to maximum avg of 30 Mbit/sec and backup takes 3 days to complete. Any kind of ideas is well appreciated. Netbackup appliance 5220 netbackup 7.5, problematic client runs windows 2003 64 bit. 1GBiT network link auto negotiation. But like I've mentioned above the backup runs OK upon server reboot and then once it's done then another backup takes ages with avg speed of 30 mbit/sec. A customer of mine has requested a report generated from the appliances which will provide specific pointed information regarding NetBackup images. The problem I am experiencing is when I add the entry to cron to run this command and pipe it to send email, nothing is ever sent. I know cron uses sendmail and I see sendmail is not running on the appliances. However "CallHome" is working fine and after a little research I believe this is using PostFix to send its email.. What do I need to change in my cron job in order to send the output via email? and Would there be any repercussions from support if I set up sendmail? I am receiveing an emailalert (Warning) each morning relating to disk space utilisation on the de-dup pool in my 5230 Appliance (which is at 80%) and wish to raise the threshold for the warning to 85%.
