Symantec Desktop Laptop Option (SDLO) 8.0 adding Dedupe server storage pool results in Could not authenticate user
Dear Support, I'm having a problem to add in dedupe server storage pool. I have install DLO on Win Server 2012 R2 and using SQL Express 2012 For testing purpose, i'm using MYLAB\Administrator as a domain account. Everything backed up on local drive, Pending Network.
Hi I've just installed DLO agent on two Windows 10 clients. Everything is getting backup locally on the client but nothing on the network share. I can access the network share and copy and paste a file. The status is saying “Pending Network” I’m running DLO 8.0 SP3 Any ideas? Regards Pierre
DLO Maintenance Renewal Entry
We purchased DLO last year and have just now renewed support for the upcoming year. I *finally* received an email from Veritas (took forever!) containg a certificate, but it does not have the information I would have expected. I have used Symantec products (and now Veritas) for many years...well aware of how bizarre the license renewal and license file mechanism works but something has changed with this particular renewal. The Entitlement ID is listed as "-1". My Maintenance/Subscription dates do show that I am "covered" for the next year but there does not seem to be any way to download a file or enter this bogus Entitlement ID in the licensing portal. What am I missing here?
How to Remote Push DLO 8.0 SP1 Client to Windows 10 - Access Denied
I am trying to push the agent remotely from the Symantec DLO 8.0 SP1 server to a Windows 10 x64 box (Via Tools / Install Agents on Remote Computers ...). But it is giving me the error Access Denied. I also have Symantec Endpoint 12.1.6 MP3 installed. The firewall settings allow any connections from the DLO server. File Print Sharing is enabled as well as Network Discovery. RDP is enabled. Remote Registry service is enabled and all other applicable services are enabled. I am trying to use an Administrator Account to install the client, could this be the issue? It wasn't an issue to Remote Push Symantec Endpoint 12.1.6 MP3. Which I had no problems with whatsoever. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
DLO 8.0 SP2 BOI Browser Issues
Hi, We're having trouble in both Internet Explorer and Edge loading the DLO page on our clients, it just continually tries. It successfully loads in Chrome. Are any other users able to view it in IE or Edge? The browser console repeatetly shows, HTML 1511Unexpected head-level element encountered outside of "<head>". HI There, After adding the Dedupe Server, I'm unable to manage it and receiving: Could not authenticate user. Do you want to retry? I've tried logging in as the service account used to administer DLO and adding the account to the user_info table w/ and w/out a password. I'm still getting the same error message. The Dedupe server is in fact running on http port 8080. Please advise.
