SreEula.exe - System Error when booting 2013 R2 SRD
Hi all. I have had a support ticket open on this now for almost two weeks, with no luck. I have 2 issues. Dell Poweredge T420. Intel Xeon E5-2450 2.1. 16GB RAM. Windows Server 2012 R2 Std. System Recover 2013 R2 w/ current MS ADK installed. All Windows updates installed, and Live update ran. 1. When trying to create a "Typical" SRD, I am only offered "German" as a language selection. 2. More imporant issue: I cannot boot the Advanced 64-bit SRD after seemingly successfully creating it in English. Booting starts out fine. Blue Windows logo...white spinning in process icon. I get the symantec boxes for loading drivers, checking system requirements, network confguration, but then I get an error box titled: "SreEula.exe - System Error" . The message is: "The program can't start because oledlg.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem". I have tried repairing, uninstallling and re-installing the software multiple times, but always get the same error. I haven't gotten anywhere with tech support. Anyone with any ideas?? Thanks Mike5.9KViews6likes60CommentsSSR 2013 - support for Windows 8.1/2012 R2 available now!

Hello, I am running System Recovery 2013 Virtual Edition (11.0.2.49853) on a number of Windows Server 2013 Hyper-V Guests. I have the client software configured to generate email alerts for medium and high priority failures. In the past two weeks three of the guest VMs have generated errors which have resulted, in the case of two, the generation of 36 email alerts within 37 seconds, and in the case of the third, the generation of 48 email alerts within 57 seconds. This extreme redundancy of email alerts is something I do not recall experiencing in the past. The two systems that generated 36 emailmessages indicated error E4BD0012 with no further explanatory detail either in the email message or the event log. The system that generated 48 email messages indicated error E7D10017 and EC8F1F61 for the high and medium priority messages respectively. This error indicates a failure to delete an offsite backup file. Regarding the above I have three questions: 1.) By what logic is it necessary to generate 30 to 50 repeititive email messages within a one minute span and, more importantly, is there some way to throttle this behavior? 2.) Does Veritas have any further information on error code E4BD0012? 3.) Regarding the E7D10017 and EC8F1F61 errors, nothing has changed with regard to the offsite backup NAS or the authentication used to access it. The error messages points to a specific file, which is present. Is there any reason this error should suddenly pop up? The system has been backing up in this configuration without issue for nearly two years. Thank You, Dale1.9KViews2likes11CommentsSR 2013 R2 Windows 10 Restore - Windows Validation Fail
Hi. Have SR 2013 R2 SP4 running on SSD running Windows 10 Pro. Windows 10 was an upgrade on Win 7 Pro. Want to migrate to new Harware. Full Backup taken and stored on 2nd hard drive. Installed NEW SSD and transferred 2nd drive to new PC. Ran SRD from USB.... Looked OK. Selected Restore Anywhere with MBR etc. However... when new PC Boots, it will only log on into Administrator User Account and displays message: "System Protection Tool 3.14 Sysprep was not able to validate your windows installation. Review the log file....\ setupact.log for details." Have Veritas/Symantec found a solution for this Microsoft License Issue?1.2KViews2likes3CommentsSystem Recovery 2013 R2 - Service Pack 6 now available!

Hi Please excuse me but I am not too clued up on this system as I have not long started with the company. Our system is backed up to seperate portable hard drives (F drive) and we are now having to restore back to 29th June 2015 due to an issue that has occurred within our accounting system. We have located some information online that guides us through the process but it does not seem to be working! We have selected the back up that needs restoring and catalogued this. We then went onto the restore tab and selected 'run now'. However, when checking the system, it hasnt restored. My guess is that when we are selecting 'run now' we may only be running the 'catalogue' and not actually the restore. Can anyone supply any detailed instructions on how to do this restore please? Many thanks in advance. Julie PS. I have guessed the SSR 2011 because I am not at work at the moment and havent got a clue!1.5KViews2likes9CommentsIssues With Symantec Recovery Disk
Hi, I'm having serious problems with the symantec recovery disk. We are using Symantec System Recovery R2 Management Solution. PRevious to the R2 upgrade restores were tested using the downloaded recovery disk and everything worked fine now however I cant seem to get a test restore working. I'm trying to a test restore on a Dell Poweredge 2850 which is running Server 2008 R2. I've created so many recovery disks I'm going insane. The first issue I experienced was that the 64bit recovery disk would not boot this server after testing this disk on other servers I logged a call with Symantec who got me to test the disk on a PC and it worked... So I tried the 32bit disk and it boots properly andf I am able to get to the recovery utility. So now the main issue I am experiencing is that when I try to do the restore the target drive is always coming us as Invalid. At first I assumed thta this was because I had created the recovery disk on our management solution server which is a VM so the disk didnt contain the relevant drivers for the server so I went to the server and tried to edit the ISO, but because the server is running a 64 bit OS I cant edit the 32bit recovery disk ISO... I tried editing the 64bit ISO, but that still wont boot. So next I installed a full version of Symantec system recovery on a Windows 8.1 PC with a different license meaning I didnt have to create the recover disk through the management solution. Once again only the 32bit disk would boot the server and once again the target drive location comes up as invalid when I try to do the restore. This time I ran the driver validation tool on the server and it came back as all drivers installed, but I still cant do a restore. I still cant edit the iso because its a 64 bit server and 32bit ISO. I've tried adding in the perc 4 raid driver once in the restore environment and that doesnt work. So now I'm stuck, I cant work out if the problem is driver related, or because the server is built using MBR, but the restore file location is saved on a volume that is GPT.2.2KViews2likes21CommentsStill Having trouble Adding Drivers to SSR 2013 SP2 SRD
I'm Still Having trouble Adding Drivers to SSR 2013 SP2 SRD. The WinPE is 6.3.9600. This means Windows 8.1/Server 2012 correct? I have 2 new workstations, both HP, A Z230 which work fine for both the storage device and NIC. The Z440 with Intel I218-LM NIC and C600+ storage controller don't show up at all. I have added the drivers using "Create Custom Recovery Disk", they don't work. I can add the iaStorB driver manually and get the storage working but have had no luck getting the NIC recognized. I tried e1d63x64.inf and e1d64x64.inf from the Prowinx64/Pro1000 Intel download. Anyone having the same problems?445Views2likes1CommentSymantec System Recovery 2013 R2 is now available!
