Unable to connect to Remote Agents in BESR 2010
This does not happen to all of the computers I try and connect to, just the newer models ones. I have been deploying the 2010 agent from my computer to remote PCs and up until now, I have had no problems. When I try to connect to a remote computer that is giving me problems, it asks for network credentials. No matter what I put in it will not let me connect. However, I can deploy the agent to the machine, but after that I can not connect to it to manage it. This has only been happening on newer machines, If we reimage the machine then most of the time it will start working. Sometimes we have to reimage it two or three times. Any ideas? I just find it strange that this only happens on our brand new machines. They are all running XP Pro. Below is an image of the message I receive when trying to connect.
Deployment of BESR2010 Client not possible

The service has not been started. (UMI:V-281-211-60352) -Error E0D3EBC0: Cannot deploy the Agent to CTREAT2. --CTREAT2, Exception occurred: Attempt to communicate with RemoteCommand Service on remote machine failed. Not enough server storage is available to process this command. (UMI:V-281-211-60352) ############# The messages occure while deploying with Domain Admin and local Admin DCOM is activated and the permissions for the users / usergroups Administrator, DomainAdministrators, BESRUser, SYSTEM are set to full access, in the meatime also the usergroup DomainUsers has full access. The computer running the console application is a Windows 2003 32 bit server. The Firewall is deactivated on both, the server and the client machines. Also if the client software / agent is installed using the DVD, the connection to that computers is not possible. We cannot use management solution, because a deployment of another agent is to be validated and this takes too long in a medical environment. Also the deployment via console application cost a lot of validation and this failed several times. The best way to do the deployment of the client and reovery browser would be via GPO-SoftwareInstallation, but therefore we would need an adapted MSI or a transformation file MST and also a way to deploy the scheduling policies with all the options like destination path, backupuser, other triggers, nameconventions.
Backup Exec 8.5 with Altiris
Hello, i´ve got a little problem with a server which is backedup with besr 8.0 (version 8.0.2.26324) and managed by an altiris server. The problem is that the altiris management console is reporteing me that the server never made backups. When i take a look at the backup destination, there is a backup of this server and its getting updated every day. So i think the altiris management console doesn´t get the right status from the altiris agent of this server(win2003 R2 x64 Standard). Thanks for your help.
