DLO 9.0 Crash when restoring
Hello, I have some problem with DLO agent. I'm trying to restore differente files (.pst and excel files) but each time i try, the DLO Agent crash without any error message... I succesfully estore the file by choosing an old revision of the file. I have this issue with multiple laptop. Something strange, I tried to restore one of the PST files that was causing problems directly on the server at this time it worked. Someone can help on this ? Thanks in advance !

Bonjour, J'ai récemment mis à niveau Symantec DLO 7.6 vers SDLO version 8 (sur windows server 2012 R2 standard) ,La mise à niveau s'est très bien passé. Sauf que maintenant lorsque je fais une restauration de données, il y a l'interface de restauration qui présente un bug d'affichage, les boutons de parcours à droite n'apparaissent plus. J'ai alorsfais une nouvelle installationde SDLO version 8 sur un autre serveur pour tester (windows server 2012 R2 standard) , mais c'est toujours la même chose. Est-ce quelqu'un a aussi ce problème? Sinon quelle pourrait être la raison? Merci d'avance pour votre aide
My computer caught fire...
All I have got left is the external drive, (USB, 1000 GB), containing the backups. I wasn't unduly worried – after all this is why you have backups isn't it? The computer was fairly old and had two IDE drives with Windows 7 and a matching motherboard with an older type of RAM. I'm not sure whether the backup software was Norton or Symantec 15. I bought the software via download so I am not hundred percent certain of the version I bought a new computer with two SATA drives. Apparently IDE drives and matching motherboards boards are no longer made. I booted from the SRD but the machine couldn't see the USB drive. I installed Windows 7 and then it could see the USB drive when I booted from the SRD. I told to restore the C drive after which it wouldn't boot from the drive. From reading this and other forums it appears that what I'm trying to do is impossible. It is apparently only possible to restore a computer to substantially similar hardware which course, in my case, is not available. I am hoping somebody will tell me that I am wrong and will explain to me in simple terms how to do the restore to the new machine. If indeed my interpretation is correct and it is not possible to do a restore to new hardware theGhost/Symantec product I bought is not of much value… David

Hi, Just Iwant to know that One is customer who have 30 Desktop & laptop computer in their orginzationn,But IT person want to use Symantec Dlo for backup purpose,But there is one problem each computer isnot member of Domain. What I want ,is there is any way, where go and give domain credential to my computer ,with help of that, Workgroup computer can also use Symantec Dlo for backup... if possible please let me know.. Hi. This is my first time posting in this forum. I have recently encountered afew adwares on my office and personal pc. I have done many things and i ended up with my pc being faster again but with an server execution error. Whenever i startup my computer, installservices64 would give me server execution error. Another thing is that when i right click and choose Personalize or Screen resolution, the server execution error would show up again. Lastly, when i press the start button and go to PC settings, it would hang and crash eventually. I am guessing there is a missing registry or some settings behind deleted by the virus. PLEASE HELP!Documents folders gone from all profiles on DLO
Hi I've got about 20 different user profiles on the DLO console, all set up to backup the Documents, Desktop and Favorites folders. This has been working fine for years and I just checked it today and the Documents folder has been removed from all profiles. Would you have any idea what may have caused this? Thanks Jimmy
