Symantec Ecex Desktop and Laptop Option / The Software is neither not configured or has been disabled by your administrator
Hey to all, Maybe somebody could help me resolve this issue or point me in the good direction. I have a w2k3 server running with Symantec Backup Exex v12.5 on it and the DLOconsole. All worked perfectly until some weeks ago. For some reason what so ever the client backup exec desktop agent gets disabled. Also on the client side it's totally not possible to enable it. It connects at startup and then puts it's self offline. Fyi on none of my dlo client installations ( approx. 150 clients ) the installation works anymore. I already checked the registery on the client side and the dbinstance and dbname still match the server. The security on the data folder and share where the files are backupped to is also checked. I can also tell when I remove the complete folder of a user off the backup shareand re-start the agent on the client side. The agent creates autom. the main folder of the end user on the backup share but from there on the agent on the client side gets disabled. A repair of the components and db repair did also help nothing. in worst case I need to remove the DLO console and re-install it. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? DLO 7.5 Error Reading Source File. Encryption Key is Invalid
As the title suggests... I am trying to restore a file, multiple files really, and the following error message is given: appliation.doc failed to restore. Error reading source file. The encryption key is invalid. The Desktop Agent will remain disabled until the problem has been corrected by your administrator. Any ideas on how to fix this and get my files back?

Bonjour, J'ai récemment mis à niveau Symantec DLO 7.6 vers SDLO version 8 (sur windows server 2012 R2 standard) ,La mise à niveau s'est très bien passé. Sauf que maintenant lorsque je fais une restauration de données, il y a l'interface de restauration qui présente un bug d'affichage, les boutons de parcours à droite n'apparaissent plus. J'ai alorsfais une nouvelle installationde SDLO version 8 sur un autre serveur pour tester (windows server 2012 R2 standard) , mais c'est toujours la même chose. Est-ce quelqu'un a aussi ce problème? Hello, I have some problem with DLO agent. I'm trying to restore differente files (.pst and excel files) but each time i try, the DLO Agent crash without any error message... I succesfully estore the file by choosing an old revision of the file. I have this issue with multiple laptop. Something strange, I tried to restore one of the PST files that was causing problems directly on the server at this time it worked. Someone can help on this ? Thanks in advance !
