FB switche 2. both storage's 3. both storage san controller 4. both cluster node's Are there any things i have to regard? Do the VEA start the to resync after the restart for hours? or it will only reconnect. I hope you can help me. Thank you!1.8KViews0likes3CommentsHow to adda node to the cluster SFWHA

Hi, We installed Storage foundation HA 6.1 with DMP set with all option marked. Before that we had the EMC power-path application, where we could see that multipathing sees all disks from all available paths. now we have the SFHA DMP option installed, But I can't figure out where do I see that the system see all disks through all switches. Any way to check this via GUI or command line without having to manually disconnect disks to check it? Thanks, SarahSolved3.2KViews1like2CommentsManage Cluster enviroment using Java Console
Hi everyone! I kindly appreciate your help with the following questions I have: 1.- Can we manage a cluster enviroment using the Veritas Cluster Manager (Java Console) being installed in a computer (OS Windows 7 Professional) that is not member of the cluster? if so, how to do it? where can I download the Java Console? 2.- Can we sent event notifications to computers that are not members of the cluster, as an example suppose that a node of the cluster is down, and we want to notify the users about this event maybe using an email or any medium to get the message reported? if so how to do it? Attached you will find the version of Java Console already installed on the servers that are member of the cluster! Thank you Marlonglobal group takes a long time to go online
Hi everyone, I'm facing the following problem related with the time to go online for a service group that is configured as a Global Group, in two clusters (Cluster1 and Cluster2) on which the group can come accross (each cluster only has a single server), it is taking a longer time to the service group to come online under a failover event. I am simulating a failover event on the server that is running the service group turning off it, to simulate a power supply cut off on that station! Please is there a parameter that I could modify to reduce this time? Attached you will find the service group relationship and its properties! Hi everybody, Right now I'm facing a problem with the members nodes of a cluster, basically Irunning atwo clusterssystemswitha single node on each one, generally speaking this is a single-node cluster configuration. I am using Veritas Storage Foundation HA 6.0 being installed on Widows 2008 R2 Server Standard Edition, the problem is like follow: After I restarted both servers asthe final step of the configuration, the servers reboots and the following message is displayed when windows tries to load the configuration: "Preparing to configure Windows. Do not turn off your computer." after few minutes the server restart again, and this process continue so and on... it means they are in a endless loop. Could anyone give me some hints or clues what could be happening? Thank you for your support! Marlon.
