HELP-HOW TO CONFIGURE VVR to two Servers
The purpose of this message is to request support interest in the configuration of two servers (Primary) HP ProLiant DL385p Gen7 virtualized, and a (Secondary) HP ProLiant DL380p Gen7, both with Platform Windows Server 2008, Standard x64 version, 64bit, to be connected for synchronous replication. Currently have installed on both computers Software Symantec Veritas Storage Foundation VSF, V6.0, in where Volume Replicator is an option that we want to achieve for both to maintain a daily backup replication or synchronously via IP network. Microsoft Failover Cluster Option Grayed Out | Veritas Storage Foundation for Windows Server 2008 R2
Hi, I try install Failover Cluster Option after SFW is installed but the option is grayed out and cannot be select.Follow the instruction from Veritas Storage Administrator's Guide but still fail. (Page 539 in PDF). Can anybody let me know the license features is include with Microsoft Failover Cluster? How to get Volume information?
Hi all, We are in the proces of fully automating extending a volume. I need some information on which commands to do this with. To extend the correct disks I need the SerialNumbers of those disks so Storage management knows which luns to extend in the SAN environment. Does anyone know howtofind these numbers through commands? Hi, We installed Storage foundation HA 6.1 with DMP set with all option marked. Before that we had the EMC power-path application, where we could see that multipathing sees all disks from all available paths. now we have the SFHA DMP option installed, But I can't figure out where do I see that the system see all disks through all switches. Migrating from Veritas Storage Foundation Volume to Windows Disk
We are in need to migrate off one of our current Storage Foundation system disks to Windows disks. We are building a brand new Windows 2008 R2 failover cluster and will not be using storage foundation with this cluster. The plan is to just migrate the disk from the current server to the new server on the SAN side of things. Does anyone have a good method for doing this? After Upgrade to v6: monitor:Blockmountpointaccess not configured
Hi there We upgraded our Test single Node cluster to the version 6 with cp2. We are running SFHA v5.1 for Windows 2008 R2 and we would like the floating virtual IP assigned to resource group to the be the source IP of the node instead of the default IP assigned to the interface. I'm a little fuzzy on how Windows chooses which IP is the source IP if there are multiple IP's assigned to an interface, but I was wondering if there is any configuration setting that can be chosen within SF. How to configure NBU service group in GCO with VVR

Hi. We want to use Storage Foundation 5.1 to manage our dual path disk. We are clustering MS BizTalk 2006 so we need to use MSCS to Cluster BizTalk. Problem is that MSCS cannot see the disk group created in SF. We are using Windows 2003 Enterprise Server R2 We installed SF first and the disk groups appear fine. Then we tried to configure MSCS and it could not see the disk. During some investigation we discovered we needed the MSCS Option, so we added our "VRTS STORAGE FOUNDATION OPTION MICROSOFT CLUSTER 5.1 WIN FOR OS TIER ENTERPRISE EDITION STD LIC" license key and it indicated that the MSCS option is available. However, when we go back to Add/Remove programs to select this option, it does not appear as a choice in the add/remove SF options. How should we proceed? Is there a seperate plug in we need to download or should it appear in the list of options in the SF installation screen? Do we need to have MSCS configured before we install SF so it can detect it?
