Report for items reviewed by a reviewer in CA
Hi , I have a requirement to prepare a report on total no of items reviewed, pending and questioned for one employee in compliance accelerator. I checked the inbuilt CA report " Evidence of exchange(internal) review by employee " , but it displays all the columns as "0". Later, I came to know that CA report only displays messages from random sampling and not from immediate or scheduled searches and review. Hi - we're looking to move from BCC Journaling to Envelop Journalinginto EV where we use CA and DA. We've been using BCC Journaling for quite a while, but I understand that BCC is not available in the new version of Exchange. I'm looking for anyone that has already made this transition. Finding Lync Message in DA 9.0
Hi all I have a question regarding finding Journaled Lync message in DA. Tool in use: Symantec Enterprise Vault Discover Accelerator 9.0, Microsoft Lync 2010. All Lync messages are stored within the users Mailbox in a folder called "Conversation History". Following scenario: Finding the Lync conversation between Person A, Person B. The problem is: The Lync conversations are stored as an e-mail. The field "To" is replaced with "Participants" and the field "From" adds the person who started the conversation. The field "participants" shows the two participants who have communicated with eachother. Now my question: I need to search the Lync conversation between Person A and Person B. Does anyone have a list of non-indexed attachments?
We are building a document that shows what type of attachments are not indexed by Enterprise Vault and are therefore not searched when using Discovery Accelerator. We use DA when we are subpoened for efiles and may need to show a court which types of files may not be produced when searched. The only document I've seen from Symantec uses generic terms like it cannot search within encrypted emails or audio files...we're looking for something a bit more specific...such as PDF or image files, etc. Obivously we can't account for every type of file but if we can get a good list of common files that would be helpful.
