We are distributor partner of Symantec. I've just completed(in this months) few Symantec cources from partnernet.symantec.com and also perticipated on online exams. I've got the certificate from certtracker. I'm seeing my credentials those I've achived three-four months ago from from partnernet.symantec.com. Altiris 7.1 Receiving ITAM Problem
1.When I receiving item, I don't know I should choose which choice in "the items should be received as". What are their diiferent ? 2.When I choose "Update an existing Resource / Add the Condumable to a Stockroom and Add as a Cost Item to existing Resource", the received line items show the System Number, What dose this mean? and I select the Exisiting Resource/ Stockroom, I cannot updated the resource, What does the problem in this case.465Views0likes1Comment
SSE and SSE+ Partnernet Portal Training
About two weeks ago I started the SSE training for backup exec 2012 and I can't find it any longer in my portal? Does it expire after some period of time? Anyone else finding the portal incredibly difficult to navigate and work with? The training videos aren't in the same format and I am often unsure if I am in the right place doing the right thing! Study Guides for technical accreditation exams
While waiting for a friend for lunch,I met a partner comining out from test center. He justfailed in his STS exam. I questioned him how get himself prepared for the exam and was surprised he was trying his 'luck' since he needs to get accredited as requirement for his company to get specialized. This is my first post on exam subject. I believe the partner would have stood a better chance if he had gone through the exam objectives, review the study guide and attempted the sample questions before he register for the STS exam. I don't know how many partners did that. But I know this helps. Recently, Symantec has enhanced some of the training modules that allows users to download the trainer's transcript and even onto ipod or any MP3/MP4 players...coool My advice, do your pre-works and now made easy with the downloads..Solved2.2KViews0likes7CommentsWhat would you recommend to partners working on specializations?
