After Opscenter upgrade to 7.7.2, Policy alerts are not showing

Clearing out non existant backup images.
I have just arrived a t a new contract and have found that the Netbackup server is reporting images on disk that is no longer present. I know I cleared out a similar problem several years ago but cannot remember how I went about it. i.e. images on e:\ which is now a CD drive. Any help please it is a manual clear out that is required. bpexpdate does not work.

Former mediaserver still has EMM registry keys
Hi We have two servers (Windows 2008R2, nb client 7.6.0.1) and they used to be mediaservers. Mediaserver software was uninstalled, servers rebooted and ordinary client software was installed. Everything is working fine, except that both these servers windows eventlog is filled up with errors. "EMM interface initialization failed, status = 333" When I asked for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\NetBackup" I found this key ""EMMSERVER"="masterservername" in "CurrentVersion\Config" Simply removing the servername or the entire key does not stop the eventlog from piling up with error messages. Does anyone know which registry keys that also have to be deleted ? Regards Per

Netbackup Client upgrade temp file removal
Anyone seen this behaviour during a client upgrade (6.5 to 7.5 in this case) ...and found a way to fix/avoid it ? child job is not trigerring for disk backups.
Hi, parent job shows running state but child job is not started last for long time. Other clients are getting sucessful for same policy and these are disk backups. master and client versions are same and communication is goog. Netbackup Solaris Media Server to 5230 Appliance Migration
Environment : Solrais 10 Master Server with 7.6.0.1 version and 7.5.0.6 Media servers with Solaris 10. Clarification Needed As we are going to migrate our Physical master server to Virtual master server with the same name ( Catalog Migration) And Going to decommission our solaris media servers to Netbackup 5230 appliance . My Concern here is after catalog migration to new server (virtual master) am going to decommision the Media servers used in old master. Will it effects me in new infra for restores using old disk pools with new appliance and how it works. Or while decommission my old disk pools will also be get deleted ..?
