Backup Exec Clean UNInstall tool
I am tring to unisatll Backup Exec CPA version 13.0.420.3701 . Using Add/Remove program is anot working . Is there a Symantec Clean Unistall tool for CPS ?

How to update Backup Exec Remote Agent For Windows System_
Hi all! I'm excperiencing connecting problems during night becakup to random clients - V-79-57344-65072 "the connection to target system has been lost". I've checked Backup Exec RAWS version at media server as well as on all remote systems - it's 13.0.5204.109. The Backup Exec RAWS version on the media serverin newer than enywhere else - it's 13.0.5204.114. In order to try to resolve this issue I want to update agents first. Is it possible to do it automaticly? The uninstallation process and push install doesn't help - the older version is installed.

Steps to configure a client
i want to configure a client at netbackup level. Please correct if i am wrong. for Unix client 1)install the OS 2)we can ask network team to provide an IP and regestering the client in DNS server. Once regerstation done will get the FQDN to our system. 3)we will install netbackup client server software in the machine, it will ask licence key, master, media server names while installing and once installation done 4)we need to add client entries in master server bp.conf , etc/host file. 5)now will chek for the connectivity using ping, telnet and nslookup commands, Once the connectivity is fine will configure the server as netbackup client. Advise on how to uninstall Backup Exec 15 manually
I recently installed Backup Exec 15 on a server with Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard. After a batch of Windows Updates, BE stopped working. Initially, I tried doing a repair; it failed. I then tried to uninstall BE through Control Panel\Programs and Featuresto do a clean install; that too failed. I was able to uninstall LiveUpdate and SQL. At this point, I have manually deleted the BE folders in Program Files (x86), ProgramData and the Symantec folder on my D drive where I installed the product. I've also removed all the keys mentioning Backup Exec from the registry. When I try to kick off a fresh install it prompts me to do a repair or uninstall, both of which fail. Clearly the install is still finding remnants of the previous install. Any help on where to locate these leftover files, or how to do a clean install and get around this would very much appreciate as we don't have a service contract.

Remove client from Host Properties list that's no longer in a Policy
I want to remove a client in the Host Properties / Client list that is not in a Policy anymore. The client is not listed in the "Summary of all Policies" or listed with bpplclients -allunique -l I guees it's some GUI bug since the client is no longer in a policy. Maybe it occured because I changed the hostname on the machine prior to it's decomission from Netbackup. Is there any way to force this? Masterserver is 7.5.0.5 on Windows 2008 and the client is CentOS 6.4

I am not really familiar with UNIX, and I had one of our UNIXsystem administrators ask me how to uninstall the NBU 7.5 software from a Solaris 10 server. Does anyone know of a doc or link that spells out this process? Thanks, Wayne
