I have a user that has a tracking cookie that continously turns up on our daily report. Symantec Endpoint Protection scans his computer once a day, locates and deletes the cookies, only it turns back up the next day. I have cleaned out this temp files and had him restart his machine after scanning and cleaning out temp files in case the cookie resides in memory, still the same issue. My question is, I am looking for a resolution to completely remove this cookie from the user machine so that it doesn't turn back up on our reports. Thank you!1KViews1like1Comment- 2.5KViews1like5Comments

Hi. Our business had a power reduction on 10/16 which led to a power outage. Once the power was restored I have been unable to get on the ProCom(?) site to access the controls for our HVAC system. I get a blue screen with a yellow flashing rectangle, then a q then a q with the yellow rectangle, then a qu(2(s9cee then it starts over again and continues over and over. Can you help? I am trying to install SEP 12.1.2 on a brand new Windows 7 computer and it gets to the end then rolls back everything and returns the error "the wizard was interrupted before symantec endpoint protection could be completely installed" I think it is due to the old memories of the SEP products pre-installed in the computer. However, I have unistalled it completely. I heard that there is a software that can be used to clean up the old memories. Can anyone share the link for the software? Any help is appreciated. I could use a little help/advice on getting started with Ghost Solution Suite 2.5. First off, I have the product installed on my PC and am finishing up one PC to create the image from. All the PC's that'll be receiving the image are identical. Can Ghost Casting be done over Wireless or is Ethernet the only way? How do I ensure the drivers are in my Ghost Boot disc that'll creat for each system? (Windows PE, Deploy Anywhere) Where do I go from here? I've read the forums, but am a little confused, I'm new at using Ghost Solution Suite and we have 175 pc's to image total. I'll be doing this onsite where each site will have about 20 pc's to image. I feel I have the basics down here, create image, create boot disc and include any drivers needed. Open Ghost Cast Server, create session, input location where image is at. Then in the boot disc, select Ghost Cast, enter session.... I haven't gotten any further yet, I'm beginning to set everything up and wanted anypointers/advice someone would provide. That way I can go in strong and have a better understanding. If I put this in the wrong community, I apologize in advance, I'm used to being able to Google whatever troubles I run into.456Views1like0Comments
