Web Services API for OpsCenter
Hi I've been searchign around for information on a web services API into OpsCenter, but so far have drawn a blank. Is there a web services API that can be used to integrate into other applications? If so can you point towards further information. Thanks. Nick.

Daily backup report using symantec netbackup opscenter analytic
Here's my question: I would like to be able to generate following reports from opscenter in a tabular form from my opscenter analytic on a daily basis formymanagement. 1. Total jobs executed in 24hrs 2. Successful jobs in last 24hrs (Status 0) 3. Partially successful jobs in last 24hrs (Status 1) 4. Failed jobs in last 24hrs 5. Data backed up in last 24hrs 6. Total number of tapes used. Will there be away to have these reports all under one subject/heading? Will greatly appreciate any help with sql query or some other way to get this done in my opscenter analytic. Thank you

OpsCenter Java Logging to 'systemprofile'
We have a dedicated OpsCenter server running, version 7.5.0.1 on Windows 2008 R2. There are a number of Java log files in C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile, currently 11 of them: java0.log, java1.log through to java11.log ... most of these files are approximatley 348MB The concern is that left unmanaged these will continue to be created possibly exhausting space on the OS drive. I could setup a process (scheduled task or similar) to manage these by deleting old files but I think it should be possible to configure something to manage them automatically. Our questions are: 1) Are these logs rotating already? 2) If the logs are not being rotated, can they be configured to rotate? 3) If applicable where are the settings to manage the rotation of these logs configured?

Backup Logs for last 3months for a server
We are going through an Audit and I need to show the backup logs for 3 servers i backup with Netbackup for the last 3 months . Any idea how i can do this from ops center . cannot see any out of the box reports in there . I am using Ops center 7.6.0.4

Hi, I have finished install Netbackup Opscenter and begining add master server but I am facing an error as below OpsCenter-10905:Action not permitted. Please verify that the OpsCenter host is listed in NetBackup configuration file (host properties or bp.conf) and/or trust is established in case of NBAC. I have open port 1556, 25, 162 on master server already. I have already execute this command to add parameter on master server C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin\admincmd>nbregopsc -add se1-netbackup Registering OpsCenter (se1-netbackup) with NB Successfully registered Registering NB with OpsCenter (se1-netbackup) Failed to register NetBackup with OpsCenter. Check to see if the specified OpsCenter is accessible Please help!!

Unable to access OpsCenter remote web console after upgrade to 7.6.0.2
Hi all, Just upgraded our OpsCenter (Windows) from v7.5.0.6 to v7.6.0.2. I can access to webgui locally when logged onto the server, but now cannot connect remotely - "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". - I have recreated the webapps folder as perTECH206842 > still cannot access the web console remotely. - Have also tried via IP - https://10.xx.xx..xx/opscenter > No go. - Web server logs are not giving me any info. Any ideas?

Can't connect to Master Server...
I'm hoping this is something simple that I've overlooked... Installed OpsCenter for a customer, 7.7.2 on a Win 2012 R2 VM on a VMWare host, and I'm trying to connect to a Master running NBU 7.7.2 also on Win 2012 R2, in the same VMware environment. They are on the same domain, can ping each other, have port 1556 listening, I have tried with the OpsCenter server in and not in the Additional Servers on the host properties in the NBU Admin console. I have not yet managed to connect the master so there is nothing yet in OpsCenter, but the error I get is OpsCenter-10940:An unknown error has occurred while discovering master server. Please contact your system administrator.
