Strange Event logs VSR18.4
I have two different servers that have strange event logs--in both cases the backups are running fine, and the recovery points are vaild and mountable, but the event logs are strange. For example: Start of Backup: Result (0x6c8f1f65 32 VPRO_INFO_SCHEDULED_BACKUP_START Args [1] Arg (0xbab000d 26 Drive Backup of Data (D:\));)<9 1.0-*-*-* > Details: Source: Veritas System Recovery End of Successful Backup Result (0x6c8f1ff3 35 VPRO_INFO_SCHEDULED_BACKUP_FULL_JOB Args [2] Arg (0xbab000d 26 Drive Backup of Data (D:\)) Arg (0xbab0012 Result (0xebab001a 23 ERROR_UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION Args [2] Arg (0xbab000d 21 RPAMConfiguration.cpp) Arg (0xbab0006 0x1eb);)<9 1.0-*-*-* >);)<9 1.0-*-*-* > Details: Source: Veritas System Recovery898Views0likes1CommentSystem Recovery 2013 issues

Hi there, I'm attempting to perform a one time virtual conversion and when I attempt to select a backup source, it says the recovery point isn't availalbe. I regularly run full backup sets to a NAS device without issues. When I use the recovery point browser it says there are none available but I can use the browse option to locate them and open them no problem... but I can't use the one time virtual conversion. I've tried restarting services, rebooting, etc. but without any luck. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Chris865Views0likes1CommentUpgrade to VSR 18 form VSR 16 - Console Crash

Good Morning everyone, So excited to ask you for the first time :) My customer is trying to get a tool to manage their hosts SSR. They have multi-location, all around the EU, so it requires central management. I did recommendto getVeritas System Recovery Management Solution. Along to theVeritas information to use the mentioned product, they should havethe Symantec Management Platform, which is the part of the Symantec IT Management Suite, right? My custom gets the trial from the Symantec website to check if does it work, but he has an erroroccurred during the installation process. For those who already use, could you please advice, at first something about the solution that the customer is looking for? Is it reliable, recommended? SymantecITMS is little expensive whenconsidering many hostswhich have to be licensed. And please say how tocarry out installations of mentioned products, correctly :) ( customer has a proper internet connection ) Thank you in advance!Solved1.5KViews0likes4CommentsSystem crash
Hello, We had the Backup Exec System Recovery software to run the backup job everyday on all of our servers. Due to "unauthorized" access, our HP EVA4400 Storagework configuration got deleted which caused all the data stored on that EVA got loss. (There are 3 physical servers that connected to EVA for data access) Please let me know what would be the best way to get all the data back?
