Netbackup error 130 and 4207 by backup Exchange 2013
Hello There. We have created a new Exchange 2013 farm and now we want to backup this. The Exchange 2010 backup runs without any problems and i copied the Netbackup policy and changed the entries. Hi, Our Exchange 2010 server is not reporting full backups. The backups are successful (status 0) and the backup image is available in BAR console. It's just the exchnage console is not reporting that there has been a full backup. Has anybody else experienced this? This isn't for every database, maybe about 10 out of 60. Quick breakdown of my environment. We have 6 Exchange Mailbox servers in a DAG with 32 Databases total. All Databases are in the DAG. I am doing backups to Tape for now until i can find more drive space for Disk2Disk so no GRT. So yesterday i was finally able to get everything talking and kicked off a FULL backup of the DAG and it was going great. All Exchange servers were showing up in the Activity Monitor, jobs were Queued up, and Databases were backing up. Life was good. I broke the network while trying to increase bandwidth and when the host was finally back up a couple hours later, all of the jobs were failed and waiting for a retry. I wanted to start over again clean, so i cancelled all of the pending jobs, and rebooted the host. Now that the host is back up, I am not able to do any DAG backups. I am getting error 46 - server not allowed access. I saw in the articles that I need to check the IP addresses that netbackup is getting, but since I am using the DAG name instead of a host, i am not sure how to check that. Hi I read that GRT is not supported for protecting Exchange 2013 database. But how about Exchange 2013 backup and restore using VMware policy? Is it working if I want restore full MS Information Store and not individual mailboxes from full VM backups? Or must I configure MS-Exchange-Server type backup policy? However, it is getting slower. Rebooting the Exchange clients help for a day or two. The backup job does not start until the snapshot completes, but this is taking hours when it should be minutes. No Backup... We have upgraded the Netbackup version to 7.1.0.3 (Servers and Agents). We do not have license for 7.5. Hi All, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on an issue we're having with our Exchange backups, the parent job targetting the DAG name is failing with error 26, however the child jobs which run for each database are succeeding. The log for the DAG job indicates a name resolution error, but I don't know why this is, given that it is able to gather the database locations successfully. It doesn't seem to be a major issue, as the DB's are getting backed up, but from a reporting point of view at least would like to see this job exit with a 0. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
