Oracle 11D Backup - ORA-19554 und ORA-27211
Hallo zusammen, ich versuche ein Backup einer Oracle Datenbank zu erstellen, welches immer fehl schlägt. Hier erstmal eine Aufstellung der eingesetzten Systeme: Backup-Server: Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, Backup Exec 15 (Version 14.2 Rev. 1180) Oracle-Server: Windows Server 2003 Standard, Oracle 11d (laut Adminkonsole) oder 11g (laut Eintrag im Startmenü) (wo kann man das genau nachgucken? In der Systemsteuerung unter Software findet sich kein Oracle Eintrag) Ich bin nach dem Handbuch vorgegangen, also Punkt H. Dennoch kommt immer folgender Fehler: Sichern- Oracle-Win::\\<Servername>\<DB-Name> Das Datenbankskript gab einen Fehler zurück. Erreichte Geräte: 1 Genutzte Datenströme: 0 Ich kenn mich 0 mit Oracle an sich aus, vermute aber den Fehler in der fett markierten Zeile. Denke, er weiß nicht, dass er die RMAN Backups auf das Band schreiben muss. Hab schon so einige Forenbeiträge hier via google gefunden, doch keiner hat mir geholfen. Daher mal ein paar Frage: - Muss ich außer dem Agent auf dem Oracle Server auch noch was konfigurieren (z.B. ein RMAN Script)? - Wie sage ich dem Backup, dass es aufs Tape gehört? - Oder liege ich mit meiner Vermutung komplett falsch? Configure Oracle Agent (12c RAC DB) on Linux (OL6u5)
I am configuring Oracle Agent on Linux and have a few questions about setup. Environment Description Oracle Grid Infrastructure 12.1.0.2.3 (Oracle ASM 12.1.0.2.3 configured) Oracle Database 12.1.0.2.3 with Real Application Cluster option (2 node cluster) and Single Tenant (multitenant option) The cluster files, data files and recovery files are on Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM). The Oracle software is installed on local driver ext4. PAGE 981 Displays the user name for the Oracle instance. If the credentials for the Oracle instance change, you must enter a user with SYSDBA rights to the Oracle instance. For Oracle RAC nodes, enter the same set of credentials for all of the nodes. For an Oracle 12c database, you must enter a user name that has SYSBACKUP privileges. 9/22/2015 CUSTOMER QUESTION Is this statement correct, "the credentials cannot be verified if the user account with which you are logged on is a member of the Oracle DBA group?" Did they mean that "the credentials CAN be verified"? 9/22/2015 QUESTION Are the "credentials for an instance" referring to an OS user account or Database user account? 9/22/2015 QUESTION For RAC AND 12c database, the User Name (database user account) must have SYSBACKUP privilege and be entered on all nodes in cluster. Does the RAC and 12c database User Name (database user account) need to have SYSDBA privilege? The Page 977 seems to indicate no but I am uncertain whether page 981 refers to RAC and 12c databases. 8 For Oracle 12c and later versions, when prompted, enter the auxiliary instance path for PDB restores. 9/22/2015 QUESTION If the database uses a Fast Recovery Area then will the auxiliary database data files be created in the Fast Recovery Area? Please confirm the following is true for Linux: PAGE 982 - If the database that you want to restore uses a Fast Recovery Area, RMAN creates the auxiliary database files in this area in the <FRA>/<SID>/datafile directory. 9/22/2015 QUESTION If the database uses a Fast Recovery Area then will we be leaving this entry blank? Using Backup Exec to backup Oracle Database
Hi, I've never used Backup Exec and I Iwould like to know if Backup Exec can answer my requests before to decide to use it for our customers. Context: We install our application at our customers, the application use an Oracle database - The size of database can vary from 30GB to 600GB - The database is install in a Windows server 2003,2008 or 2012 - The objectif is to backup the Oracle Database running on the server - Only 1 database to backup (for each installation) - The backup destination will be a shared network directory - 1 full backup per day Requirements: - Backup Exec + Agent should install on the same server - Backup should run automatically once a day. Questions: - In case when the server crashes, does it easy to restore the database in the other server ? - Does Backup Exec uses RMAN to do the Oracle database backup ? - Does the backup set can be used by RMAN ? - Does it common to install Backup Exec on the same server ? what is your recommandations ? To back up the database when it is in NOARCHIVELOG mode, the database must be MOUNTED but not OPEN.how to restore oracle datafiles to another local in the same server
I need to restore backup of Oracle database in different location the original.I need to restore only the datafiles for the purpose of creating a new instance on the same server. My need is only restore data to another location to then recreate a new instance. Currently when I try to restore to another location, the backup system restores elsewhere, however, it is changing the controlfiles the original database that is in use. Already worked in the past with Arcserve and it was possible to back up with the Agent for Oracle, however, when it was possible to restore a server choose any disk to restore only the datafile without modifying the active instance. backup exec 2012 - oracle linux RAC - add channels
Hi, I have the following config: Backup exec 2012 on windows, Oracle rac 11g on linux, 2 nodes. The archive logs are stored on each cluster node (if storagebox fails, I will need these). However, as soon as archivelogs are selected, backup immediatly stops, telling the path to the first archivelog on node1 (/ARCH/...) cannot be found: Starting backup at 06-FEB-15 current log archived released channel: ch0 RMAN-00571: =========================================================== RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS =============== RMAN-00571: =========================================================== RMAN-03002: failure of backup plus archivelog command at 02/06/2015 21:55:03 RMAN-06059: expected archived log not found, loss of archived log compromises recoverability ORA-19625: error identifying file /ARCH/1_14719_815484539.dbf ORA-27037: unable to obtain file status Linux-x86_64 Error: 2: No such file or directory Additional information: 3 Backupexec tells backup is successful and didn't backup anything :( !!!!! To make it work, I would need to add something like: allocate channel for maintenance device type disk connect 'xxx/yyyy@instance1'; allocate channel for maintenance device type disk connect 'xxx/yyyy@instance2'; to the script. Can I customize this somewhere? Regards.
