Symantec DLO 7.5 not working on Windows 8
Hi, We have an implementation of Symantec DLO with number of Windows 7 and some XP SP3 workstations that works OK. There are two Windows 8 that at first did not permit DLO agent installation, but after enableing Remote Registry Access, DLO agent was successfully installed. The problem is that DLO agent does not work with normal user logged in. If we login as a user that has administrator priviledges, then DLO agent does work and backups are working. We did search the KB and tried uninstall and install (from setup.exe, on local machine). We also tried to manualy enter the user into DLO Administrator. Nothing helps. Any clues? Issue running DLO 7.6 SP1 Agent on Mac
Hi We have several Macs in our company which are not connected to our domain. So, we use a local account on the Mac and then use a VPN client to connect to domain resources using a domain account. We have just recently upgraded a test DLO server to DLO 7.6 SP1 and want to now test the Mac agents. We successfully installed the agent on two Macs, but when we run the agent we get a dialog box with the below details: Please enter your password for the account below. The account will be used to connect to the Media Server. User Name: Password: O Save encrypted passwords used by DLO We are unable to change the User Name in the above dialog box as it it greyed out and has the local Mac account entered. Do you know how this can be changed so that we can enter a domain account and start backing up data using DLO? Thanks JimmyCant use DLO agent
Hi, As i am new to the DLO, I installed DLO server and configured perfectly. I installed Agent on one computer in my domain. I created 2 user in DLO server of my domain. When i tried to login as user A at my client PC i am able to use DLO agent perfectly,But when i am logged in with different user account B i am not able to use DLO agent properly. Attached is the Pop Up message i am geeting,Tried entring administrator account user detail for that domain as well as the logged in account details but cant access.
dlo8.0 unable to disable user - please enter correct password
hi i'm having an issue after upgrading to dlo8 agent. when i log into a laptop with a user that does not have a dlo account, i'm unable to select disable user without getting an error message saying "please enter correct password". if i press cancel, it goes away, until the next time i log in, it prompts me again for dlo credentials on dlo 7.6 agenti did not have this issue. anyone have any ideas how we can resolve this?
