How and where to define data traffic will go through different IP
I am working on NBU appliance version 2.6.2 we have 2x1 Gig management IP and 2x10 Gig data IP. We have create bond of these.Currently data traffic is running through 1Gig connection. If I want that traffic will run through 10 Gig connection, do I have to create routefor it? Please let me know how and where i can define that data traffic will go through another IP? Replication is consuming all bandwidth
Hi experts, We are facing issue in our environment where replication is set between 2 netbackup domain having appliances. When replication is running sometime network team is complaining high outbound usage from appliance. Please suggest what is causing such issue. The mpls link is 30mbps between 2 sites and there is not more than 10-15 replication jobs running simultaneously. Netbackup Appliance Encryption
Hi all, Our 5230 appliance currently does not encrypt data on the disk. If i select the option from the Web console to start encrypting am I right in saying the only the new data backed up will be encrypted? Hi All, Can anyone tell me where the commands are for the the SMASH console on the 5230 appliance. For some reason, after a reimage, I have rebooted the appliance but do not get even the spash screen. I can get onto the IPMI port and know there is a way of booting the appliance from there. 5230 Appliance Setup issues
We cannot get past the hostname/dna page while configuring a 5230 with 2.7.2 on it. The cli is also having issues where it will not accept or allow us to add a nameserver. " netbackup appliance: failed to validate the host name. if the server does not use dns, in the host name resolution section, enter the ip address, the fully qualified host name (fqhn), and the short host name. click "+" to add the entries, then click "next"." all info is correct.
