Your session has expired, please log in again
Dear community, I have a weird issue here. I have just setup a brand new BE 3600 R2 appliance just yesterday. When I am accessing the web UI with IE9 on windows 7, and IE8 on another machine (XP), whenever i click on the "hardware" or "Remote Launch" I will have this error message "Your session has expired, please login again" I do not have any issues at all when I am using Mozilla Firefox. I have added the URL in the trusted sites, clear cache, enable cookies. Nothing worked. Is this a bug? Edit: Tried with compatibility mode too but still no go. BE appliance is patched to latest update. Now that Symantec has announced that Backup Exec.cloud has only one year left to live, I was wondering what the residents of this forum plan to do to replace it? Starting in January I plan to search for a similar type of product - one that can back-up locally, as well as to the cloud. If anyone has any suggestions as to the appropriate product and hardware, I'd appreciate knowing about it. Thanks! LarrySolved2.6KViews0likes6CommentsBE 3600 Upgrading: CASO first? or MMS?
Hello, I am preparing to upgrading my 2 appliances: 1 CASO and 1 MMS, which one should I deal with first? CASO or MMS? And anything I should back up beforehand, e.g. the whole Catalog directory, any job settings, etc.? After the upgrade, do I need to perform on the appliance, i.e. Dedeplication disk, the action "Inventory and Cataloging"? Thanks, JoeSolved2.4KViews0likes7CommentsBackup Exec 2010 R2 to R3 upgrade

I am trying to RDP to the brand new backup exec appliance and as soon as I log in to the server it logs me off. I read some threads about needing to enable rdp via power shell and also saw some comments that only Symantec tech support can do that. How do I enable RDP?Solved2.3KViews1like2Comments
