not able to get the Active Directory users in the backup for the Active Directory using the GRT
Dear All, We are taking the backup of the Active Directory using the GRT enable feature. We have even NFS enabled on the master server & Active Directory server as well. The backup is successfully completed by selecting the system state of the client, but when restoring, We are not able to see the single user account, So please guide us, how to restore the single account user for the Active Directory backup. Thanks, Waiting for quick response.Solved2KViews0likes11CommentsAdding third node to VCS Cluster - (Solaris 10, NBU 6.5.5)
Hi, I'm currently running a Master Server which is a VCS Cluster with two nodes. I need to add a third node to the cluster and am struggling to find any doco on it (apart from the high availability guide which explains configuring from scratch). Does anybody happen to have any doco on this or is able to point me in the right direction? Apart from the VCS side, I'm assuming that I'll probably need to run cluster_update and configure from there, along with adding the extra node via nbemmcmd, etc. Thanks. Hey Guys, I have an odd question. I have a backup image that is on disk right now that I know my user may or may not want to check for some information down the road. Currently it is set to expire in a week. Is there a way for me to freeze that image so it stays on disk and does not expire like it should? Thanks! I've done a search across the forums but can't seem to find the answer so I figured I'd post. I'd like to know what's included in the the NBU 7 Capacity based license - base. From what I can tell, it has pretty much everything (SSO, SAN media server, Virtual Tape option, BMRetc etc - these get listed as features when adding the key to master) So then I'd like to know what the "Deduplication option Add-on" provides? I've tried adding the key to my NBU master and it says "Failed to add the key. License does not match platform/OS type". the real key query for me is: do I need this deduplication add-on for me to use a VTL that has built-in de-dupe functionality? Given the error noted I'm inclined to think not and I've been sold it incorrectly. When I register the kety on the license portal I get the option to download Netbackup Puredisk - this is a separate product entirely right? thanks DaveSolved984Views0likes4CommentsDisaster Recovery nbdevconfig -setconfig error updateStorageServerConfig
I'm attempting to restore my netbackup dedupe database to a server in a remote location and I'm unable to startup the Content router. All data & databases are replicated via NetApp replication and i can mount the data without issue. When attempting to restore the PureDisk credentials to the DR server and bring up services i fail on the nbdevconfig -setconfig. This fails right away. I can start Spad, but not spoold. The only thing i can think of that's different between the 2 is that the IP's are different. Otherwise everything is the same hardware.
