Mailboxes won't archive as all item are ineligible
Hello I have an issue which is a bit odd. i have a 90 day archive policy and a 90 day with 90days of short cuts policy that both work prefectly however. we need to clear down some users to 60 days and some disabled users to 1 day and removal of all short cuts. i created a new policy and a new provisioning group for both groups of users and then added test users into the group and left it to run for a few days. after a couple of days i noticed the test users hadn't archived. upon investigation i have discovered that archive server is reporting that the test box is uptodate as all mails are ineligible for Archiving and we always be ineligble for archive. my first thought was that i had missed something in the archivable items but it's the same as the working policy. i've double check the policies and they are the same except for the 2 months instead of 3 month. and short cut deletion policy. i've now re created the policy and reprovisioned the user and get the same result. any advise would be great as i'm at a loss. for reference i found the information in the archive report for the exchange server under Items Ineligible under policy. thanks in advance Michael1.3KViews0likes3CommentsMigration target disk space issue
Hi All, Due to some emergency and space consideration issue we had migrated some data from EV primary partition to a secondary partition(NTFS to NTFS) in the past. (Used collect and migrate) Now we are facing an issue that the disk holding the migrated data is filling up to capacity. Need option to free up some space there. Could we move some data back to primary etc. - ASGSolved788Views0likes2CommentsCollection results discrepancy
Hi, I am adding a collection to a case and the total hits and collected items in the collection results of the job log are not the same, and it is saying zero items errored. ie: 14,515 total hits, 14,505 items collected, 0 errors. I would be expecting 10 errors?897Views0likes3CommentsTwo Journals Need Retention Category Changed
Good morning! I have an issue I'd like some community assistance with... We have two Journaled Mailboxes, we'll call them Old Journal and New Journal. They both share the same retention category, at this time... "Permanent" (Brilliant idea from whomever the "first" admin was...), and I need to purge all but the most recent two years on the Old Journal, while leaving everything in the New Journal as Permanent. I realize this can't be done without some interesting solutions, and that's what I'm here for... the interesting solutions. What would everyone recommend as the best way to do this? I contacted support, and their recommendation was to export the New Journal to a .pst, create a new retention category specifically for it, then import the .pst to the mailbox via Exchange, and let the archiving re-archive using the new retention category. I'd like to avoid that solution if at all possible, because we're talking about a .pst file that's 100 mailboxes over the last 2+ years. Not something I want to even try. So, what can I do? My end result, I'd like to have the Old Journal with a retroactive retention of 2 years, and the New Journal still permanent, or perhaps legal hold? Am I correct that if I change the category of one of either Journal, it has no effect on the items which were archived using the previous retention category? And that only if I change the retention time on the existing retention category will it be retroactive? Thanks for everyone's time! Does Clearwell effectively de-dupe a series of conversations that build on each other via Lync 2013/Outlook? For example, if I've started a chat with someone, then we go idle for 10 minutes, the conversation is saved in my Outlook Conversation History folder. If we start chatting again, then I close the conversation window, the Conversation is saved again. During preprocessing, will Clearwell de-dupe (i.e. remove the first conversation) before processing and review?815Views0likes4Commentserror sys webforms.pagemanager evault

Hi The environment is Exchange 2010 SP3 + EV 10.0.4. Is it possible to trigger a script before we disable a mailbox during the separation process to archive all the mails to Enterprise Vault? This would be very helpful for our operations Team. They frequently serve the requests from business to provide access to separated staffs mails for business continuity. In this case, they provide access to the separted staff archives. However there are some mails (those are not eligible for archive as per policy) might be stored in the mailbox and was disabled during the separation process. or any other better ideas to handle in such situtation? We are in the process of trying to move our file-shares and re-organize how our Clearwell data sources are structured. In doing so, we need to move the collection sets that were already processed into different cases. The source locator modifier will not allow that move to tell Clearwell to look at a new location. Is there any other way? Old structure: \\fileshare\clearwell\collections\ New structjre: \\fileshare2\deparement\clearwell\collections\Solved1.4KViews0likes3Comments
