Backup Exec 2014 support for IP Less DAG protection Exchange 2013
Customer has implemented IP less DAG configuration of Exchange 2013 on CSV Hyper-V hosts W2K12R2 2 MBX nodes and now attempting to backup using BUE 2014. With no central management IP or DNS entry to use - what is the best method to add BUE protection of Exchange DAG Information Store. Posting here while i run some searches. McAfee SIEM Receiver unable to receive DLP Incidents
Dear All, I have configured SymantecDLP Enforce with McAfee SIEM (Syslog Server) I have followed the Admin Guide and Symantec article and followed the steps as mentioned. We are able to send incident messages to Syslog server,and Enforce server is Successfully Telnet Syslog Server. syslog IP port 514 Secondly we have run TCP Dump which shows DLP is sending event messages to McAfee SIEM receiver. Now coming on McAfee SIEM they have selected Symantec DLP and put IP of DLP enforce and there default port is 514. Now they are Syslog is unable to receive any incidents but from our side its showing it has already send logs. regarding DLP Message variable i have used. $POLICY$ $INCIDENT_ID$ $SUBJECT$ $SEVERITY$ $MATCH_COUNT$ $RULES$ $SENDER$ $RECIPIENTS$ $BLOCKED$ $FILE_NAME$ $PARENT_PATH$ $SCAN$ $TARGET$ $PROTOCOL$ $ INCIDENT_SNAPSHOT$ $POLICY$^^$INCIDENT_ID$^^$SUBJECT$^^$SEVERITY$^^$MATCH_COUNT$^^$RULES$^^$SENDER$^^ Need you help is there any port to be open on DLP side or what steps should i take. Hi all, pleaseadvise regards on this Fingerprinting Feature -They want to have a fingerprint feature enabled so that they will not create many policies for just one document that they want to protect. -Or is it possible to have a storage (repository of their documents) so that the created policies will just check the fingerprinted documents from the storage? thank you, marj829Views0likes2Comments
CCS V11 VMware data collection
I have a fully updated CCS V11 installation and want to add VMware data collection to it. The CCS V11installation guide suggests that I need the BV Information Server for VMware component to be installed. It also points me to the V10.5 installation guide on how to install the required components. The installation procedure however has been updated significantly in V11 and does not not mimic the older versions. Using the CCS suite installer of V11 I cannot install the BV Information Server components, moreover it looks like they are already installed by default. What is the correct approach for setting up VMware data collection, what additional components are required to be installed? EV 8 sp2 + Exchange 2007 sp3
Hi, Is there any known issues with exchange sp3 and EV 8 sp2 version? I know that when I previously installed Exchange 2007 sp3 on our Exchange CAS servers access to vault using OWA was broken and I needed to apply a hotfix from Enterprise Vault also What is the most recent service pack fro EV8?
