Error while enabling user mailbox for archiving
While enabling user for archiving , I am getting following error message. "An error occured enabling the mailbox mbxname . Error: 0xc0040c93 A possible cause could be the location of the file 'mapisvc.inf' or the configuration information it contains. Event id 3219. *EV deployment scanner comes clean on OL version/Profile/HF/Exchange/Permissions *mapisvc.inf is missing from both the locations. 1. C:\Windows\SysWOW64 2. Virtual Vault not removed from Outlook...
Hi, Here is my problem: I would like to disable archiving for some ~500 users and delete theirs archives from EV 9.0.2. The problem is that Virtual Vault is still always present in Outlook folder tree and users are able to browse the vault cache. How to remove it for 500 users? Here is what i did (step-by-step): 1. Disable archiving for users from EV console. 2. Synchronize Mailboxes 3. Remove users from the Provisioning group 4. Run Provisioning task 5. Delete archives from EV 6. Hello all, I am struggling with an issue with EV-client on Citrix. The Citrix setup is not completely known to me, but additional information I can get my hands on. The citrix server is W2008R2, the applications are published. What is published is only Office (2010, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook), and Adobe Reader. Not Internet Explorer, IE is installed on the system. The EV-client is 9.0.3.1221 The plug-in is installed properly. When opening an archived item, I get prompted for a username and password. When entering, the item is opened fine. The problem I have I need a solution for is that if in the Enterprise Vault tab I click on Archive Explorer or the Search Vaults button, I get a blank page. When I create in the inbox a folder, and set the homepage for that folder to the Archive Explorer ui, I get the archive explorer, same for the search-page. REMOVED FOR SECURITY REASON Attached a client-logfile. REMOVED FOR SECURITY REASON The Citrix Admin has entered the aliasses and hostnames in the trusted sites on the citrix-server for the users. Does anyone have an idea what can be done/checked/tried to get the Archive Explorer and Search Safe page working. The password prompt we will work on later. Hello Experts, As part of a monitoring solution, we have been relying upon the presence of below registry keys to detect presence of a VCS on Windows, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\VC HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\VCS\Base This however seems to be unreliable leading to false positives. SMTP Email notifications on a non-standard SMTP port
My ISP recently blocked all SMTP traffic on port 25, so I no longer receive my BESR reports via e-mail. I need to change Backup Exec System Recovery 2010 to use SMTP port 587, but this is not an option in the software. I searched the registry to try and find a way to adjust it, but came up empty handed. I tried using an SMTP server of mail.server.com:587, but that didn't work. Throttling Policy - User does not contain a user with a mailbox error
[PS] C:\>.\SetEVThrottlingPolicy. ps1 -user domain\evsvc Successfully connected to [Exchange Server] Using Domain Controller: DC1.domain.com Invalid parameter value: -User does not contain a user with a mailbox. Please pass in a valid username. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We can open the mailbox correctly. SetEvPermissions script rund correctly, Add-AddPermissions also runs correctly. Only Throttling fails with this error. The user name "evsvc" is also the alias & the mailbox name, so no chance we are wrong regarding username. Running this on evsvc01 & evsvc02 (system mqilboxes for exchange 2010) - same error on Throttling policy, no errors on the rest of the scripts. I am trying to setup Data Insight 3.0.1 with an artificial share so I can see activity on users home shares from a NetApp filer. I have created the .pb script as mentioned in the admin guide but I am struggling finding the user id to use with the configdb.exe command: Find the user ID of a Data Insight user assigned Product Administrator Server Administrator role from the latest configuration database table in the $DATADIT/conf folder. Is this the user ID of the Server Administrator that I see in the Settings -> Data Insight Users screen? If so how do I get the user ID from Windows? ... also ...
