Symantec System Recovery 2011 Management Solution
hi, In SSR Software Compatibility List (http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH157280&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1352129563120), Symantec System Recovery 2011 Management Solution is mentioned as a separate product. what is it and functionality? by any chance is this referring to Central Management console for SSR? (if yes, I was in impression SSR Desktop 2011 has central management cosole feature defaultits not a separate option) This same doc.... says "Symantec System Recovery 2011 Granular Restore, included with SSR" but "Included with SSR Server and SBS Editions only. GRO is not included with Desktop or Linux Editions." Does this GRO feature in SSR Server and SBS Edition allows file level management in Console also? Thanks.DLO 7.0 and SSR 2011 Desktop
Hi, Need helpon DLO 7.0 and SSR 2011 Desktop Can both of this Application co-exist in same server? is it possible to manage both from single management console or in other words is SSR/DLO integration possible....like DLO was with Backup Exec? Pls. correct if i am missing/wrong, As far I understood DLO and SSR both supports disk based backup only... differrence is DLO is used for garnular file/directory level backup and management from console. SSR used for complete system backup image level (baremetal). file level backup option is available in SSR but managing backedup file/folder is not possible..? Thanks in advance for your response.
Problem Installing BESR-MS 2010
I'll appreciate any help about this problem.I am having problem in installing BESR-MS 2010 in windows 2003 R2 32 bit.In the last session of installion the error shows " Reconfigure or Uninstall " or Cancel " after doing cancel when i run the installation manager the error shows..see the attachment to see the error snap shot. Give me the suggestion to resolve it...

automate missed backups BESR 8.5
Currently i have several laptops on my network with BESR 8.5 installed on them. i have them scheduled to backup at night to a SAN everday. when these systems are taken home they don't backup and in the morning the users click no when asked to run the missed backups. is there a way to take this option away from them? To make this automatic instead of an option?
