Appliance 3600 Upgrade to Backup Exec 2014
Hello, i been waiting on the appliance upgrade for a while now, we have to migrateall servers to windows server2012 R2. But without upgrading the appliance first we wont be able to backup our production servers. I been reading on the forums that it would become available in september... Now we are september, is there any ETA for when backup exec2014for appliance 3600 gonna be available? I need to start migrating ASAP :S1KViews1like6Comments

How to backup Exchange 2010 DAG steps
Dears, I have a Backup exec 3600 appliance (Not software) I want to backup exchange server? What are the steps; because I did a normal backup (installed exchange agent into the primary server and specify the SQL database), but it still can find the logs of the Database isn't supposed to remove the logs with the backup? Please help me taking the backup in the right way (step by step as I donot have much experiance in Symantec Backup), also know that Ii am using Appliance I have no access to the appliance server (Symantec does not recommended it). I All We have a Backup Exec Appliance 3600 R2 with product version 3.0.422.0 (Stand Alone). I try running live update from Backup Exec 2012 Console, but i get the same information. Open Symantec Support Case, but i wait a reply about this issue. Some people any a idea about this issue. Dear gurus, Please help me on this, my BE2012 appliance cannot go to internet due to the need for authentication. To do that i need to go to my firewall portal to authenticate. Performance problems on Backup Exec.cloud
Hello, I've less than 10 desktop/servers backed up with backup exec.cloud. Principally for office data (.doc, .pdf ...). We use this service since march 2013 and in the first times it worked really great.But since late october, the service backup exec.cloud is really, really slow. The backups takes hours for low volume of data ...(when it works). I send emails to the support team of backup exec.cloud > No response. I tried to call them > The phone does not ring... And I'm blocked on this situation since 15 days. Can someone give me information about what's going on with this service ? Connectivity problems on Symantec datacenter ? My BU exec 2010 R2 is running perfectly, however, we've chosen to upgrade to 2010 R3 as part of our 2012 evaluation.
