im using backup exec 11d., i have this problem since last week..all the things cannot be backup and on queue "Please insert overwritable media into the robotic library using the import command. Overwritable media includes scratch, blank, and recyclable media. Please note that depending on the current Media Overwrite Protection setting, imported and allocated media may be overwritable as well. Consult the online help for more information on overwritable media." please consult me in this situation..

VMWare backup failing- Error code 6
Morning all, I need some assistance with an issue I found this mornign on one of my VM's. The backup is failing with the error code 6. backup server is 2008 R2 Standard 64bit. The VM is scheduled to be rebooted later today and further more testing will be conducted. Any light to the matter?

job status - complete with exceptions
there are some backup jobs run in Backup Exec 2012 , only two full backup jobs complete with exceptions in the lastest backup task. The credential of this backup job test result was failed. we haven't change any password or credential of this job. Symantec Netbackup - Password
Hi, My query is related with symantec netbackup client services. Scenario: As per our system policies we need to change privledge users password periodically. and when ever we change our password backup scheduled in netbackup get failed even after confiquring new password inthe services of symantec netbackup in master server. Hi, i'm a newbie to this backup exec 2012, and recently we have active contract on supporting this Backup Exec 2012. By supporting this, we need to perform health check or software preventive maintenance on the servers equipped with backup exec 2012 on quarterly basis. Just want to know that whether there are some guidelines or procedures/steps on what we need to include in the health check such as services, connections, patches? Please share with me if anyone know how to prepare a backup exec 2012 health check checklist in order to perform the preventive maintenance for the servers. Thanks

VXVM gives trouble in solaris11.2
Hi, I have installed VXVM6.0.1SF with trial version on Solaris11.2 inVMWare workstation. While installing the installer asked to set lwp_default and stksize to 0x8000. I have done it and completed installation successfully without any issue. After reboot also no issue. But if i give df -h command then immediately system going to kernel panic and starts rebooting and while booting it throws warning in lwp_default and stksize. Also i can see logs to run the vxkeyless setnone. This also done. Need any work around to fix this issue. Regards, vinothtv

Unable Access Second Partition After Formatting Primary Partition
I recently had fully encrypted hard disk (Toshiba mq01abd075), operating system (Windows 7 Professional), two partition. C (146 GB) and D (548 GB) and 4 GB Unallocated space. I ran the system restore for partition C, after which I was unable to access the operating system. I reinstalled the operating system partition C. I installed PGP WDE, when I entered in the program, partition D does not appear to be decrypted. Partition D appears in My Computer (0 bytes), in computer management at disk management appear 548 GB RAW. If I double click on it ask me for Format, but i've never click Yes, so the second partition was never touch after the problem.After this I reinstalled twice the OS. Now I have windows 8.1 but stil,but still I have not touch the second partition. I've tried to decrypt the drive with a few tutorials such as(WinPE and put the hard disk as second partition): http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH170574 http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH149478 Give me various errors suchs as: "Could not locate valid BGFS record. Recovey failed! Operation recover disk failed: Error code -11984 item not found" or "Disk 1 is not instrumented by bootguard" and others. I know was my fault. Please give me a solution.
