Network Storage Location is Read only and is not a valid destination
We are running System Recovery 21 and attempting to migrate our backups from the cloud to an on premise storage server appliance. I have done this for 11 other systems without an issue, 2 weeks ago. Today, I have tried on multiple systems and I get the following error every time. This error happens after entering the network credentials and licking "Next" in the Backup Wizard: -Error E1AD4191: \\*server name*\*system name*\ is a read-only location and is not a valid destination. --Error E7D1001D: Unable to open '//*server name*/*system name*/Destination_Location_Test_File'. Error EBAB03F1: Following Operating System error occurred while performing requested operation: 'Access is denied.' Error E7D10049: Device *system name* appears to be offline, disconnected, or otherwise unavailable. Things I have tried to no avail: Verified target folder permissions and sharing settings Created a new folder on the server and pointed to that (same error) Restarted the backup appliance server Used a different account to authenticate in the Backup Wizard Restarted the PC I am trying to backup Ran Veritas as admin in different ways Tried this same process on other PC's that also need their backup destination changed Entered the server IP as the target instead of the name Verified I can access the storage location via file explorer and can create files within the target backup location Can ping the backup appliance by name and IPSearchFolderManager and error 8004011d
Hi, I am currently at a customer and he got a lot of processing errors. In cause, some mailboxe get folders with more than 40K items (some have 100K+). I then tried to run the searchfoldermanger on one mailbox to test but no can do. process could not be started due to the following error: Unable to access proccess Manager
Hey After windows update 12.04 our Enteprise Vault 10.0.3.190 have been struggeling starting the indexing service. When it tries to start i see diffrent errors in eventlog and dtrace. the most common error is: The EVExchangeWebServicesProxy process could not be started due to the following error: Unable to access Process Manager The EVTaskGuardian process could not be started due to the following error: Unable to access Process Manager The EVStgOfflineOpns process could not be started due to the following error: Unable to access Process Manager The EVStorageQueueBroker process could not be started due to the following error: Unable to access Process Manager Tried uninstalling the Windows updates for Windows os, had no effect. Saw it was alot of Office updates aswell but i havent removed them yet. Is there anyone who have the same problem or can help me out?
OUTLOOK: Can't open archived/stored emails
Hello, Since this week Microsoft updates, Outlook (2010/2016) can't open archived/stored items. Maybe, Outlook is blocking VBScript of custom forms. I'm using EV Client 10/11. To view an email, the users must "restore" to the mailbox and then open it. The message is: This item has been archived by Enterprise Vault. Click here to view the original item (this link doesn't work). Thank you.
Veritas Backup 16 - Service Crashing
I have a critical issue with BE. The service beserver.exe is crashing randomly. We tried with the BE support without success. This server crash at the Windows 2016 server, so we reinstall the BE at a Win 2012 R2, but the service crashes too. If you leave the server without any job running, the services crashes too. We tried to repair, remove the .Net framework, but without success. Its the log: A process crash has been detected. Faulting application: BackupExec.exe 16.0.1142.0 Faulting module: KERNELBASE.dll 6.3.9600.18666 Fault offset 0x95fc Exception code 0xe0434352. Any suggestions ?
Difference encountered in file data in verify stage
Hi everyone We have a problem, since couple weeks ago, our backup system getting this error "Difference encountered in file data" for almost every backup rule and every kind of files (SQL - OS - Data), I have no idea what's the problem.
