Evault and Discovery Accelerator (Dealing with OST files)
OST archiving in Enterprise Vault like a PST Migration...is it even possible? I know the PST tasks will only locate ".PST" files. Does Evault allow a way to archive OST files similar to PST files so the items within it can be searchable using Discovery Accelerator? I've archived the OST file using FSA, but finding the items within it in DA and trying to open it is not allowed. Any workaround when dealing with OST??? Thanks for the help! Dennis

Error while enabling user mailbox for archiving
While enabling user for archiving , I am getting following error message. "An error occured enabling the mailbox mbxname . Error: 0xc0040c93 A possible cause could be the location of the file 'mapisvc.inf' or the configuration information it contains. Event id 3219. *EV deployment scanner comes clean on OL version/Profile/HF/Exchange/Permissions *mapisvc.inf is missing from both the locations. 1. C:\Windows\SysWOW64 2. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SYSTEM\MSMAPI\1033 fixmapi did not solved the issue.

Virtual Vault not removed from Outlook...
Hi, Here is my problem: I would like to disable archiving for some ~500 users and delete theirs archives from EV 9.0.2. The problem is that Virtual Vault is still always present in Outlook folder tree and users are able to browse the vault cache. How to remove it for 500 users? Here is what i did (step-by-step): 1. Disable archiving for users from EV console. 2. Synchronize Mailboxes 3. Remove users from the Provisioning group 4. Run Provisioning task 5. Delete archives from EV 6. Uninstall Enterprise Vault add-in from user’s PC The Virtual Vault is always there… Please help!

Enterprise Vault and Virus
When you run enterprise vault (8.0) and you have a virus that comes in on an email which is not caught prior to archiving how is this typically handled? In other words, can I cleanse the email? Do people remove the email? Is there no worry about the virus? I ask so that if we have a an issue where an infected email is archived that users to do not pull out an infected email when searching/restoring/etc the archive in the future.

Hi All, We are facing issue while accessing archived mails which contains attachment in Mac book using outlook 2011. When we face similar issue in windows, we used to reset EV client on windows machine. In Macbook, how can we reset EV client and access archived mail with attachement without any issue. Hello all, My enterprise is looking at Office 365 as an alternative to the Vault software. I am looking to hear about others experiences regarding this usage.
