Where install VIOM: on Windows? or on Linux?
Hi every one: I want to install VIOM, I never do it before, and my first question is: Where I should do it? In Windows envioroment? or in Linux Envioroment? All my clusters are in Linux Envioroment: Infoscale 8.0 on Red Hat 8.9. Other question: Is it posible install Cordination Point Service in the same server? All my clusters have 2 nodos: node one in one CPD (site 1) and the node two in other CPD (site 2). I think that the new server (VIOM+CP) shultd be another CPD (site 3). Correct? Thanks Jaime.
Installing 20.4 unable to authenticate with the user and password
Veritas support has been absymal on this. I have been speaking with several technicians for the past two weeks and none of them have provided any resolutions. I am trying to update Backup Exec 16 to 20.4 as standalone. The serever passes most of the enviroment checks successfully but has a warning that the current user does not have permissions to log on to SQL server instances that have a designation of '**' even though the account i am logged in tohas full permissions to the SQL database, can act as part of the OS, log in as service account, and create tokens. The Backup Exec SQL Upgrade Check will randomly fail. sometimes it does, soemtimes it doesnt. I'm unsure why because the SQL instance is within the compatibility range at 2008 R2S2 and cannot be upgraded. If i make it to the start instal screen, it will refuse the domain credentials we used to set up the backup server initially, suceed with local adin credentials, run for 30 minutes then fail again saying it was unable to authenticate with the user and password provided, which have been tested in RDP. Please someone help.

Backup Exec 16 FP will not install
I am having an issue with installing BE 16 FP2 as it keeps hanging on the service account screen I have tried to allow the install to add the account but it still hangs I have tried to create the account and it still hangs I have looked at event viewer but not seeing anything that would cause an issue. Hello, I have question. On AD server which will be installed DLO already installed azure AD (second AD) for office 365 sync, and AD azure have its own SQL. Does azure AD will conflict with the DLO when installed on same server? I tried to do a simulation in my VM to install Azure AD and DLO in one server and each sql is installed seperately.
