Exclude certain Error codes from generating SNMP traps - Ops Center & HPOM
Hello Folks, We have been in the process of integrating NetBackup backup failure alerts with HP OML for auto-creation of the Incident tickets and get it auto-assigned to our operations ticketing queue. We have got somesuccess in this integration, but there is still some kind of refinement we would like to do in that, as in for example, certain error codes should not generate SNMP traps and not being sent to HP OM and auto-generation of incident tickets for those can be avoided, for example, error code 1, 150 e.t.c to name of few. We just do not wish all backup-failure error codes to auto-generate an Incident ticket for us. How we can achieve that please? NetBackup : 7.6.0.1 ( In cluster) Master Server/Ops-center server: Windows 2008 R2-64-bit Enterprise Ops-Center: 7.6.0.1 HP OML ( HP Operations Manager for Linux) : 9.10 ================================================================= Any help & guidance in this regard would be much appreciated. Adding LDAP to OPSCenter
Hello, I need some help about registering an LDAP Active Directory to OPSCenter. As explained , i added the domain following your instructions : vssat addldapdomain -d sosm.lan9 -s ldap://myLDAPmachine -u ou="Users",dc="sosm",dc="lan" -g ou="Users",dc="sosm",dc="lan" -t msad -m cn="Administrator",ou="Users",dc="sosm",dc="lan" -w thepassword -b BOB Then I add the domain broker : vssat addbrokerdomain -b opsCenterMachine:3652 -d ldap:mydomain Then i go to the managment console : Settings > Users . I select " Existing domain user" , choose the "mydomain" just created. I type the administrator account. Everything is ok until now. But when I try to connect, i always have the same error : "Login was not successful. Please make sure the username, password, and selected domain are correct for your user account. OpsCenter Restore files not shown
Hi, I have a strange problem with OpsCenter 7.6.0.1 restore function, when using the browse option a directory listing is not showing the contents, I can see the full directory and files if I use the Java GUI and I can also use the OpsCenter restore search option to locate a file within the missing directory listings. This may be due to some of the file names that the MAC application creates which start with ._ but unsure. I have attached a few screenshots in a doc to show the problems, I want to use the OC restore as I have a user that looks after the restore and it is easier to use the OC for this with selected views, also I cannot locate a MAC client for the Java GUI :-) Kev

Hi, Need some helpon how tochangeSymantec Opscenter Analytics logoon custom reports exported in PDF's from Opscenter?I am looking to export some of the pdf reports with my company logoinstead of Symantec Opscenter Analytics for my clients.
