vxlicrep ERROR V-21-3-1015 Failed to prepare report for key
Dear all, we got a INFOSCALE FOUNDATION LNX 1 CORE ONPREMISE STANDARD PERPETUAL LICENSE CORPORATE. I have installed key using the vxlicinst -k <key> command. But when I want to check it using vxlicrep I'm getting this error for the given key: vxlicrep ERROR V-21-3-1015 Failed to prepare report for key = <key> We have Veritas Volume Manager 5.1 (VRTSvxvm-5.1.100.000-SP1_RHEL5 and VRTSvlic-3.02.51.010-0) running on RHEL 5.7 on 64 bits. I've read that the next step is to run vxkeyless set NONE, but I'm afraid to run this until I cannot see the license reported correctly by vxlicrep. What can I do to fix it? Thank you in advance. Hello, In 2012 due to site accessing problem we have downloaded the Veritas software with temporary S/N provided by Symantec. Now we need to download again for a server re-instalaltion. Could you help where or how can we contact to get the software again? At this moment we have from archived data below information: - E-mail from Symantect with temporary S/N - Product key - SO number p.s. Veritas Volume Manager 4_DG restoration
Hi I have a node which is SUN E2900 where SUN storage 6130 is connected.Veritas volume manager was configured in that node.Server's internal hard diskswere under VXVM.Apart from that other DG were created by using the storage disk.Now thing is that the server got completely crashed & I need to reconfigure the same from scratch.Please note that I have the explorer out put of the server.Now my question is that can I able to import the Dgs from the storage.Kindly suggest on this.
