EV - 11.0.1 download & location
I currently have a number of customers on various 10 versions of EV and am looking to start planning the EV11 upgrade. As 11.0.1 is now available I am planning on deploying it. I see and can access the 11.0.1 CHF1 ISO, but cannot locate the 11.0.1 base code itself. I am assuming there is a full ISO install for 11.0.1 as opposed to an update to 11.0 (I already have the 11.0 code dated May 2014). I can only locate upgrade notifications for 11 (nothing for 11.0.1), and when I use the serial number associated with those upgraded licenses I see the original 11.0 code from May 2014. Anyone assist here ? Thanks, AJSolved5.4KViews1like2CommentsEnterprise Vault.Cloud Licensing
Hi, I have Exchange 365 Exchange. I want to buy Enterprise Vault but i had some concerns that i want to archive mailboxes and want to check those emails on hand held devices as well. I checked one article on the web that Enterprise Vault will not archive Exchange 365 mailbox items. But Enterprise Vault.cloud can archive Exchange 365 mailbox items andwith this EV cloud we can check archived mails on hand held devices as well. Now question is as inEV.Cloud wedontneed toinstall any hardware and software so what kind of licensing we need? Hi, I have an Enterprise Vault 8.0 SP2 installation and now I need to install Discovery Accelerator. The Vault is installed on a two node active/passive MSCSCluster, We have created a virtual server running Windows Server 2003 standardthat Iam installing the DA server onto. On the VM, I installed the Vault 8 APIRuntime, .NET 3.5 and the rest of the pre-requisite software. I am loging into the VM using the same service account that the Vault is running under. This service account is a member of the local administrators group on the VM. When I install the DA, everything appears to be OK, but Icontinue to get the Page Not Found error. I checked all the steps in the trouble shooting guide (page 204), and everything appears to be correct, it just doesn't work. I am sure it is an issue with the installer (me) doing something obviously stupid, but I am admitting defeat and asking for help. So, heeeelllppp! Hello. I am gathering the Clearwell upgrade requirements (upgrade from 7.1.5 to 8.1). I have two questions: 1) What are the hardware requirements for 8.1? We do not have a Clearwell applicance. 2) Do I have topurchase a license for Office 2013 or is it included with the Clearwell 8.1 software? Thank you.Solved2KViews0likes4CommentsHow to check amount of needed licenses
Hey guys, I have some general questions about EV licensing and I want to check how many licenses I would need at the moment. We are running EV 10.0.4 with FSA and MBX Archiving. Both is licensed per user. So if I run "Run licensing and Usage Summary Report" I can only see FSA usage and additional extensions. But if I change the license type to "Per User licensed" the report does not change at all. It still shows the used TB. Is that something the CU3 could improve? Than I need to know, what exactly has to be licensed? All archives or only archives with an active user? So a user leaves the company, his AD object will deleted sometime, his archives stay. Do theyneed a license? Leading to my question, what is the best way to check the needed amount of licenses for FSA and MBX Archiving? Thanks in advance. Kind regards, ChrisSolved2KViews0likes3CommentsActive Mailboxes and Deleted AD accounts
Hi, Vault 11/ 2008 R2. Our process has always been that mailboxes are enabled for mailbox archiving on Vault. Then when the user leaves, we disable the AD account for a while and then delete when ready. This is fine (we have set Vault to work for Disabled and Hidden accounts). However, our "Active Archives" count is double what our user base currently is. My main questions are. 1) What is licensed here? Active Archives or is it Active Mailboxes? 2) Is there any manual tidy up procedure I should follow. From the manual, Vault says the following, which sounds like I need do nothing other than delete the AD accounts: Mailboxes with no associated Windows account are not archived. This is the correct behavior. The Exchange Mailbox task automatically disables archiving for such mailboxes. If someone could confirm points 1 and 2 that would be great. Thanks in advance. We're currently running EV 8.0 sp3 and DA 8.0 sp3. Our target version is 10.1.13 as we plan on upgrading to Exchange 2013 in the near future. I think I've figured out in which order these upgrades need to take place but would like confirmation that I have it correct. 1. Upgrade DA to 8.0 SP5 2. Upgrade DA and EV to 9.0.3 3. Upgrade DA and EV to 10.0.13 Also in step 1, do I need to install a new license key. I realize I will need to in the following upgrades but will I need to obtain a new license key upgrading DA from 8.0 sp3 to 8.0 sp5? Another licensing question, when I check the licensing portal, I do not see license keys for V10. Only V9.0. We're still in a support agreement so I'm not sure why this is. Thanks in advance for any insight or confirmation you can offer.Solved1.5KViews0likes9Comments
