vxlicrep ERROR V-21-3-1015 Failed to prepare report for key
Dear all, we got a INFOSCALE FOUNDATION LNX 1 CORE ONPREMISE STANDARD PERPETUAL LICENSE CORPORATE. I have installed key using the vxlicinst -k <key> command. But when I want to check it using vxlicrep I'm getting this error for the given key: vxlicrep ERROR V-21-3-1015 Failed to prepare report for key = <key> We have Veritas Volume Manager 5.1 (VRTSvxvm-5.1.100.000-SP1_RHEL5 and VRTSvlic-3.02.51.010-0) running on RHEL 5.7 on 64 bits. I've read that the next step is to run vxkeyless set NONE, but I'm afraid to run this until I cannot see the license reported correctly by vxlicrep. What can I do to fix it? Thank you in advance. Can we take backup of these user devices if we have on-premise license. And what are the license requirement for BOI (backup over Internet). its an urgent query please reply fast!
SR 2013 R2 Windows 10 Restore - Windows Validation Fail
Hi. Have SR 2013 R2 SP4 running on SSD running Windows 10 Pro. Windows 10 was an upgrade on Win 7 Pro. Want to migrate to new Harware. Full Backup taken and stored on 2nd hard drive. Installed NEW SSD and transferred 2nd drive to new PC. Ran SRD from USB.... Looked OK. Selected Restore Anywhere with MBR etc. However... when new PC Boots, it will only log on into Administrator User Account and displays message: "System Protection Tool 3.14 Sysprep was not able to validate your windows installation. Review the log file....\ setupact.log for details." Have Veritas/Symantec found a solution for this Microsoft License Issue?Veritas Cluster
I need to know the licensing method if i am planning to run 4 Node Window cluster on Virtual machine. 1) Physical Machine having Dual CPU with 12 core ( Intel Xeon E5). 2) Virtual Machine having 16 vcpu each . So need to understand how many license i need to buy to create 4 node Vertias Cluster and which license type . Quick help is appreciated.
