MDSP rolling data conversion
Dear Experts! Our customer want to upgrade NBU environment from 7.7.3 to 8.1.1. He has 10 Tb MDSP pool data.I read that a conversion process is started the background. Questions: ----------- - Do the backup can safely start and the mdsp rolling conversion is running in the background? Is it safely behaviour? - If the convert process is crash and stop how can we restart that? - 8.1 has three hotfixes, one of them is a spoold patch. Do you suggest to use 8.1.1 (but is 2-3 weeks old) or use 8.1 and patch the spoold after MDSP conversion is completed? Thanks in advance! BR:Pal
