Netbackup - Migration of the appliance to a new Master server.
Hi, good Mornig, I'm working for a client that needs to change the server that we are using as Master server to renew it. The thing is that the Windows team is asking us if they can change the name of the Master server to so the new server can have the name acording to the new standars. Serching about the topic of master server name change I found this: https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100011576.html in that articule said that adding the new master server name and deleting the old one, will be enought for Netbackup to run on the new server. But I'm not sure if that will have impact on the polices that we are megrating through the catalog backup, because the catalog backup in being megrated from the old master server. Can someone clarify this and recomend the necesary steps to follow in this case? Thx you all for the help! Best regards.-
