Failure alerts for specific clients
How can I setup alerting for specific job failures i.e. from a specific client. I currently use OpsCenter Analytics for reporting & alerting; but the alerts are for all clients, how can I limit alerts for only a sub-set of clients on backup failures only. Can this be achieved via opscenter or does it have to be done on a per client basis using BLAT on Windows?
Add Selections to Backup Schedule in OPS Centre Report
Hello Folks, I have attached an OPS Centre Analytics (7.7.3) SQL report which I think I convieniently picked up from one of these forums sometime ago. It shows the backup policy details (Policy Name, Client Name, Schedule, Backup Windows, Start Time, and Duration) for an NBU master server. I'm not a great SQL person, but does anyone know how to add the details of the Backup Selections and theStorage Unit into this report? Thanks
Daily tape usage reporting for Tapes using Opscenter
I am working on setting up capacity reporting for the backup tapes. Could you help suggesting if it is possible to get some report from the Netbackup ops center on ‘daily backup volume to tape? Data would be required to monitor daily/monthly increment in the volume been sent to tape, so we could make some estimations on the future tape requirement. I have opscenter analytics version. My backups run to MSDP first then duplicated to tape using SLP. Could you please suggest some report that I can use ? I use the Media Summary by Media Server report but that gives me the total utilized tapes and data on them.OPS Centre Analytics Report for Suspended Jobs
Hello, I was after a OPS Centre Analytics report (either custom or SQL) which can show me all of the currently suspended NetBackup jobs (all Types - backup, restores, snapshots...). Sync clients between NetBackup and OpsCenter
Hello Veritas community. I have a question, how much time need OpsCenter to sync clients from NetBackup. I told about time in which client will apear in xml (view_exportimport.bat) as CLIENT. I need it to add client to view. And it is possible to do this sync operation manual? Thanks PS Possible I'm wrong, but I see that after I add client to a policy.
