Hi Everybody, This is my problem. I am usingSAN of Proware which doesn't support NDMP, so that I can't use BE 2010R3 to backup directly from SAN to Tape(Tandberg Data). The LUN mapped to backup server cannot be seen. How about Backup Exec 15? Does it support to see LUN map from this SAN Proware? Thank you so much. Ket Vo.3.7KViews0likes17CommentsVTL issue
Hi, I have just installed a virtual tape library on a linux machine, then installed NBU Media server on it. NBU version 6.5 on both master/media servers and clients. I've configured the tape library from the master server (Windows 2003) and when I'm trying to run a backup I'm continually getting "resource request failed(800)" error. There are 4 drives installed and also a lot of tapes. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks and regs, Virgil.Solved2.8KViews0likes27CommentsNew NetBackup Product Landing page.
New look NetBackup Product Landing Page! We are trying to make our content easier to find. We now have the pleasure of announcing a new landing page for NetBackup (which some of you may have peeked at already), which has been designed specifically with that goal in mind. Have a look at the new page:http://go.symantec.com/nb We’d heard that people were finding the original product landing page overwhelming, so we’ve simplified the page (bearing in mind which links were clicked most and which search terms are most commonly used). This page is now also easier to maintain, so we can swiftly and easily highlight high priority issues. The new format also supports ‘topic’ pages, where we can pull together information and links around a particular topic or subject. You can see our first example of this new type of page if you look at our installation or upgrade topic. We plan to have more in future. We hope you like the improvement!2.7KViews1like9Comments
