USB flash for Appliance upgrade

Hi, according to SCL there's still no official support for RHEL 6.6, which basically leads to "i'll wait to update until it's supported". Now this may cause security or bug fixes problems in the meanwhile and i've read around that the big difference between supported and unsupported is caused by the kernel release, now: rhel/centos 6.6 2.6.32-504.el6 rhel/centos 6.5 2.6.32-431.29.2.el6 Honestly i dont think this may cause that BIG difference, but i can't see around any kernel version related SCL.... So my (double) question is: - has anybody updated and everything is still working fine? - should i insted wait until 6.6 magically appears in the scl? Appliance 3600 Upgrade to Backup Exec 2014
Hello, i been waiting on the appliance upgrade for a while now, we have to migrateall servers to windows server2012 R2. But without upgrading the appliance first we wont be able to backup our production servers. I been reading on the forums that it would become available in september... We've got a Backup Exec 2010 server running on Windows Storage Server 2008 R2. Our Microsoft WSUS server shows that it needs over 107 Microsoft Security updates. Our Backup Exec admin says when he checks for updates in the Backup Exec console it doesn't show it needs any. Should we be worried or is there anothe way to apply the updates? Altiris Patch Management, custom report: SQL Relationship between Bulletins and Targets
Hi guys, I'm trying to make a custom report to show the compliance of the Bulletins by targets. But i couldn't find the right relationship between tables to show this information. For example, I need to know for each bulletin, what are the targets that are assigned to each policy? Here is my SQL's: 1) At First, i choose a specific Bulletin by Guid : BulletinsGUID.txt 2) Then i run this SQL with the Guid that i want and pasted into the variable --> @BulletinGuid = 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' TargetsByBulletin.txt 3) The query will show the Bulletin Name and Target name, but i haven't could to acquire the results that i need, can anybody help me ?? I try running live update from Backup Exec 2012 Console, but i get the same information. Open Symantec Support Case, but i wait a reply about this issue. Some people any a idea about this issue. Not able to install the BE3600 updates
Hello We are using BE3600 device and using its webUI when we click on download updates it gives us error mentioned in the screenshot. If we try to install the windows update manualy within windows it works and BE2012 also able to run live update. Pleaes help.616Views0likes5Comments
