Unable Access Second Partition After Formatting Primary Partition
I recently had fully encrypted hard disk (Toshiba mq01abd075), operating system (Windows 7 Professional), two partition. C (146 GB) and D (548 GB) and 4 GB Unallocated space. I ran the system restore for partition C, after which I was unable to access the operating system. I reinstalled the operating system partition C. I installed PGP WDE, when I entered in the program, partition D does not appear to be decrypted. Partition D appears in My Computer (0 bytes), in computer management at disk management appear 548 GB RAW. If I double click on it ask me for Format, but i've never click Yes, so the second partition was never touch after the problem.After this I reinstalled twice the OS. Now I have windows 8.1 but stil,but still I have not touch the second partition. I've tried to decrypt the drive with a few tutorials such as(WinPE and put the hard disk as second partition): http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH170574 http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH149478 Give me various errors suchs as: "Could not locate valid BGFS record. Recovey failed! Operation recover disk failed: Error code -11984 item not found" or "Disk 1 is not instrumented by bootguard" and others. I know was my fault. Please give me a solution. Cannot submit a case on mysymantec.symantec.com
I have been trying to submit a tech support case online with Symantec since Friday, 8/10. Tried again today. No help. Sometimes I get an Apache server error page and sometimes I get this: MySupport Application Error The MySupport application has encountered a program error. You can either try again or contactSymantec Technical Services Thank you for your patience. Assume I cannot hear or talk. I am dead in the water. It's pretty disconcerting that a multinational tech company cannot get its online tech support case submission app running. I have tried multiple browsers multiple times to no avail. HALP!!
Help with Norton 11 Symantec Antivirus -
Antivirus software picks up trojans nearly every 25 seconds or so ... they get quarantined ... and can be cleaned out of the temp file ... When I try to run a full scan ... it runs fine and at the end it starts this automatic Trojan pick up ... thereby never letting the scan end ... as long as I'm surfing the web ... Norton picks up these trojans and quarantines them ... Have already uninstalled and reinstalled the software but that does not help ... Any ideas?symdeltmps
I cannot seem to be able to gain access to symdeltmps. I tried to work support but I cannot submit a case, they ask for Technical contact ID or Technical Case ID, but I dont know how to get either of these. I have not recieved any emails concerning the case, so it appears as though it was not submitted. Thank you anyone who can help. I get the usual DWHxxx.tmp messages, that is why I need symdeltmps.

hello, I saw in earlier discussions that there is a fix to this problem, but it was for more updated version of SAV. mine is 9.0.0.338. can you tell me what is the solution for this. please try to be as detailed as you can, since I don't have much experience with Registry editing... thanks!!! spetz.
