NetBackup Catalog Recover
Hello, I am trying to recover a NetBacukp catalog from an old server on a new one with another OS but same name and different IP address. I get the following error, when I chose the NetBackup Catalog Recovery Wizard right after successful installation of NetBackup 8.2 to a Windows Server 2016 virtual machine. The output of the log D:\Veritas\NetBackup\logs\user_ops\SERVERNAME\Administrator\logs is only 2 bytes in size. Any idea?
FSAUtility Not Restore All Files - But show restore files completed
Hi guys, I am trying to recover all the files from a directory. But the command below ends successfully but does not restore the files. I've tried a different path but it also does not retrieve the files. FSAutility have any restore limits per day? TKS!
What can be done with a one time backup?
It is clear that one time backup can be recoverd to the machine it has created from, but beside that: 1- Is it possible to create an increamental backup of a server based on its previous "one time backup" ? 2- Is it possible to recover or convert a "one time backup" to a new or existing VM?
