SF/HA 6.1 support for RHEL 6.5 - when?
Hi, I have read another thread on the topic, where it is concluded that there is support in 6.0.3 with patch, but not in 6.1 (VxFS/ODM specifically) (https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sf61-cannot-install-rhel-65). VxVM 6.1 seems to run fine on my test RHEL6.5 though, but not the file system. Of course there will be full support for RHEL 6.5 at some point, but can anyone share some light on the timeframe? /A

When will SF 6.0.x be supported on SLES 11 SP3
We are using SF 6.0.3 on SLES 11 SP2 now but for some new features would really like to upgrade to SLES11 SP3. When looking at the https://sort.symantec.com/productmatrix it is still unsupported :(. I am currently puzzled with SUSE doing ABI changes, so may 6.0.3 work on SP3 due to backwards compatibility or do we have to wait for official support from Symantec? Are there any official plans for SP3 support? Thanks a lot and best regards, Urs

Symantec Preferred Platform
Hello, I have a question from a customer that I am wondering if anyone has heard anything about this. I understand Symantec is shifting preferred platform support away from Solaris over to Linux – specifically Red Hat, as I understand. What is the support for Oracle Linux 6.x, either with the Oracle Unbreakable kernel or the Red Hat compatible kernel? As I understand from Oracle, Oracle Linux 6.x with the Red Hat compatible kernel is almost the same as a native Red Hat 6.x OS. Oracle is also willing to have discussions with vendors that do not support Oracle Linux, but do have support for Red Hat. And, when would you have general support for Oracle Linux as a primary platform?

EOSS for Veritas File System 5.0 MP3 RP3
We have been encouraged to upgrade from VFS 5.0 MP3 RP3 to VFS 5.1 SP1 RP1. This is going to be a costly upgrade, so we are trying to determine the best time to do this. We are trying to find out the end of support for VFS 5.0 MP3 RP3 on the Symantec web site with no success. Does anyone know the EOSS for this product? Thanks...vw
