Question about "SMTP Mailbox Journaling" function in EV12
Hello team, It seems that a new function "SMTP Mailbox Journaling" will be introduced into EV 12. I have a question that if the EV administratorable to set different retentioncategory for end user and audit user? For example, end user is able to search their own emails in 1 year, and audit user is able to search all the emails in 3 years. Would you please give me some feedback? Thank you very much. When looking at the compatability chart dated July 24th I don't see Windows 10 listed. So, is Windows 10 supported, and if not officially, has anyone tested it yet using the latest EV client (11.0.1)?

I need Solution Exchange 2013 intigration with Enterprise Vault 10.0.x
Dear Team, good News.... I have integrate Exchange 2013 CU6 with Enterprise vault 10.0.X . Now I have configured Exchange archiving task for Exchange 2013 user. But archiving task getting failed with below error ID . Log Name: Symantec Enterprise Vault Source: Enterprise Vault Date: 2/13/2015 11:31:14 AM Event ID: 2256 Task Category: Archive Task Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: IN-HOHVGEVSRV01.glenmark.com Description: The Archiving Task 'Exchange Mailbox Archiving Task for IN-HOEXCH-001' could not be started due to startup errors. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------- Log Name: Symantec Enterprise Vault Source: Enterprise Vault Date: 2/13/2015 11:31:14 AM Event ID: 3460 Task Category: Archive Task Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: IN-HOHVGEVSRV01.glenmark.com Description: The Task 'Exchange Mailbox Archiving Task for IN-HOEXCH-001' failed to log on to Exchange server c' using mailbox 'SMTP:inhoexch-001@glenmarkpharma.com'. Check that the mailbox has not been hidden, that the server is running and that the vault service account has sufficient permissions on the server. Enterprise Vault used the following settings for the Outlook Anywhere connection to Exchange 2013: Proxy server: '' Requires SSL: 'True' Certificate principal: '' If these settings are correct, check that the servers are responding. Note that Enterprise Vault auto-discovers the proxy server and certificate principal unless you have configured them explicitly in the target domain's properties in the Administration Console, in which case you should check the settings you have made. EV10 Client Error
hello, running ev 8 sp5.. yes i know its old, we are working on it.. please see the attached error, getting this in on the client side. server: ev8 sp5 client ev10 i have followed all the articles to solve it but the error comes and goes. https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/enterprise-vault-add-pop-message-outlook-data-file-size and other ones i found. any ideas? thanks

Exchange Server 2013 email archive and EV 11 email archive comparison
Hi People, I’m currently investigating what EV v11 can offer for the Exchange Server 2013 email archiving solution. Since the Exchange Server 2013 SP1 already got the Email Archiving feature built-in with no additional cost, I wonder if anyone here can send me the document or Technote which shows the comparison between the EV v11 archiving feature and the built-in Exchange server archiving feature ? Or any comparison document from real life implementation would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
